《浮生六记》两个英译本的比较—文化视角

　　本文以《浮生六记》的两个英译本为个案，探索文学作品中的文化翻译现象。翻译表面上是一种语言符号的转换活动，其实质却是一种文化转换或文化传输的活动，文学翻译尤为如此。文学作品取材基本上来源于生活，反映生活，蕴涵着丰富的文化内涵。因此，在翻译文学作品时，译者一定要妥善处理作品中的文化信息。翻译不仅要考虑语言的差异，还要密切注意文化的差异，文化差异处理的好坏，往往是翻译成败的关键。在中西文化全面交融的今天，翻译已不仅仅是语言间的信息转换，也是一种文化转换或文化传输。汉语典籍承载着丰富的文化蕴涵，处理好汉语典籍英译中的文化差异问题将有助于中西文化的全面交流。本文采用文化视角进行研究，目的是说明文学翻译不仅是文字转换过程，也是一种文化传输活动。同时，对《浮生六记》两个英译本进行文化比较分析，从而评出优译。《浮生六记》是清代沈复著的一部自传，其间蕴含着丰富的文化内容。本土作家林语堂在三十年代翻译了《浮生六记》，英国作家布莱克在五十年代末翻译了此作品，本文试图从“文化”角度对两个英译本进行比较，进而探讨哪个译本在文化翻译方面做得更为成功，进而探讨文学翻译中的文化差异及翻译模式。本文在巴斯内特和勒菲弗尔...
