浅析杨绛《洗澡》的英文翻译

【摘要】：本文尝试对杨绛作品《洗澡》的英文翻译做出全面分析与客观评价。作为杨绛的唯一一部小说，《洗澡》在中国当代文学研究领域，赢得了学者们的普遍关注。然而，自从2007年《洗澡》译文出版以来，很少有人对其进行研究。而这些研究也多是从某个方面对《洗澡》的翻译展开分析，其中包括全息翻译观、语言风格再现、归化翻译策略和信息焦点等角度。因此，对该译本进行全面深入的分析已是迫在眉睫。 本文作者首先从翻译选择的角度出发，着手对《洗澡》英译本做出分析，，包括文本的选择，文化立场的选择，以及如何理解与传递文本意义的选择，而后作者又对译本的语境特征和结构特征作出分析。译本的语境特征分析主要从交际语境和语言语境展开，结构特征主要围绕杨绛最显著的语言风格——反讽和句法结构展开分析。同时，文章采用了维索尔伦所提出的顺应概念作为评价译文的标准。原文的文化色彩是否尽可能保留？读者的可接受性是否得到充分重视？杨绛的反讽艺术和语言风格是否得到再现？作者将就此做出详细分析，并试探性提出自己的建议。
