基于文化负载词的杜甫诗歌英译策略研究

【摘要】：译者翻译策略是翻译学研究的重要领域，目前诗歌翻译策略研究却非常匮乏，而专门从文化负载词角度出发，探讨诗歌翻译策略更是鲜有人涉及。仅存的少数相关研究还多采用定性描述，把翻译策略简单二分为归化和异化，忽视对二者内部层次结构及策略选择原因的探讨。基于此，，本文以杜甫诗歌为研究蓝本，采用定量与定性相结合的方法，尝试通过探讨翻译策略内部层次，来洞察两译者在翻译杜诗中文化负载词时运用的翻译策略及策略选择背后的动因。本研究引入语料库语言学研究方法，重新审视了翻译策略之间的关系，对摆脱以往研究缺陷，完善文化负载词翻译策略研究，提高诗歌翻译质量具有直接的应用价值。本文从以下五个方面展开:1)系统梳理中西方对杜甫诗歌及文化负载词翻译策略研究，界定文化负载词概念，并指出当前研究中存在研究方法主观、研究范式单一、研究数量不足的缺陷，进一步明确本研究的必要性及重要性。2)根据研究需要，本文创建汉英平行语料库，创建素材是54首杜甫经典代表性作品，及对应的吴钧陶的和路易·艾黎的英译本，为文化负载词的提取做好文本准备。3)本文建立异-归化量表，把从语料库中提取的文化负载词374个进行翻译策略的统计，并将其转换成线形图，为细致探讨译者翻译策略内部层次打下基础。4)本文借助这些图表和统计软件SPSS13.0，辅以例句，对各个译者文化负载词的翻译策略进行分析，从而获得译者翻译策略特点。5)本文通过文本分析，对影响译者策略选择因素进行细致探讨，为译者翻译行为找到合理解释。经过数据分析，研究结论如下：译者翻译策略是辨证统一的关系，翻译策略的选择总是在极端异化与极端归化构成的连续体上游移；吴译整体策略分散，源语中心策略与译语中心策略基本持平，既注重保留源语文化特点，又考虑到译本读者的接受能力，而艾译整体策略集中在译语中心策略上，更注重译文在译语文化中的接受程度；尽管两译者具体翻译策略有一定相关性，但艾译译语中心策略始终比吴译明显，吴译源语中心策略比艾译明显，使艾译读本更流畅，吴译读本更有中国风味；译者翻译策略选择主要受到中国翻译环境、译者文化背景和文化取向、译者翻译目的、翻译原则的制约。
[Abstract]:The translator's translation strategies is an important field of translation studies, the study of poetry translation strategy is very scarce, specially from the perspective of culture loaded words, explore the poetry translation strategy is rarely involved. Few researches only more qualitative description, the translation strategies of domestication and foreignization is divided into two simple, ignored on the two level structure and Strategies of internal reasons.
Based on this, this paper takes Du Fu's poems as the research model, with the quantitative and qualitative methods, attempts to explore the translation strategies of translation strategies to gain insight into the internal level, two translators in the translation of culture loaded words in Du Fu's use and strategy choice behind the driver. The introduction of corpus linguistics research methods, to re-examine the relationship between translation to get rid of the previous strategy, research defects, improve research on translation strategies of culture loaded words, have direct application value to improve the quality of poetry translation.
This paper from the following five aspects: 1) of Du Fu's poetry and culture loaded words translation strategies of Western carding system, the definition of culture loaded words and concepts, and pointed out that the current research methods are subjective, single research paradigm, the insufficient number of defects in the research, further defined the necessity and importance of this study.2) according to the research needs, this paper created the Chinese English parallel corpus, creating material is Du Fu's 54 classical representative works, and the corresponding English versions of Wu Juntao and Louis Eli, to prepare.3 for text culture loaded words extraction) this ISO - domestication scale, the extracted from the corpus of the translation of culture loaded words 374 the strategy of statistics, and convert it into a linear map, for a detailed discussion of translation strategies of internal level lay the foundation for.4) using these charts and statistical software SPSS13.0, with examples of each The translator's translation strategies of culture loaded words are analyzed, so as to get the translator's translation strategy feature.5. In this paper, through the text analysis, we discuss carefully the factors that influence the translator's strategy choice, and find a reasonable explanation for translators' translation behavior.
After data analysis, the research conclusions are as follows: the translator's translation strategies is dialectical unity, the choice of translation strategies is always lingering in the continuum of extreme alienation and extreme domestication on a decentralized overall strategy; Wu, the source language and the target language center strategy strategy of basic level, pay attention not only to retain the source language culture characteristics, and considering the translation the reader's ability to accept, but the overall strategy focused on the translation center of AI translation strategies, pay more attention to the acceptability of translation in the target culture; although there is a certain correlation between the two translation strategies, but the heart of language translation translation strategies, translation was always compared to Wu, Wu Yiyuan Language Center Biais translation strategy, the ai the reader is more smooth, more Wu Yi reader Chinese flavor; the choice of translation strategies mainly by China environment of translation, translator's cultural background and cultural orientation, translation purpose, translation principle system About.
