【摘要】:在当代西方社会,"艺术"的本质及其存在形态,与前现代社会相比早已发生了深刻变化。作为一位有前瞻性眼光的艺术批评家,哈罗德·罗森堡在20世纪80年代初,针对当代社会艺术品形态的转型和传播过程、传播环境的变化,对艺术的本质和审美上的特性做了探索性的梳理总结。他的这篇艺术理论文献在今天读来仍有较高的参考价值。郑式将此文译出并增加了注释,推荐读者关注。视觉艺术管理的概念引入国内不过几年时间,人们已经越来越意识到对视觉艺术进行有效管理的重要性。本期刊发的马健的文章,对国外艺术银行的运作模式做了概要性的介绍。这种艺术管理方式在国内目前还处于起步阶段,多数人对这一"新事物"也还没有清晰的概念,因此马健一文非常值得一读。
