风格传递—《理智与情感》两译本对比研究

【摘要】：风格传递是翻译研究者密切关注的话题。研究者对此话题表达出诸多不同的见解,对风格一词的涵义也颇有争议。“风格如其人”的观点受到广泛的赞同。本文也认为风格是作家的象征,然而从读者的角度来看,风格应具体为作品的象征,是作品表现出的整体特点。翻译者应发挥最大努力向目的语读者传递原作的风格。本文主要从风格传递角度研究《理智与情感》的两个中译本,尝试结合中国相关翻译理论和尤金·奈达的动态对等理论,以及彼得·纽马克的“关联翻译法”,并且运用于两译本的对比分析中。在此研究中,本文不仅对比原作和译作,还对比分析两译本在词汇层面、语篇层面和修辞层面上传递原文风格的异同。本文认为忠实传递原作不仅是对中国传统翻译研究成果的继承,也是翻译的本质要求；目的语读者的反映可以作为翻译工作和翻译批评的衡量标准,成为传统衡量标准的补充。
[Abstract]:Style transfer is a topic that translation researchers pay close attention to. Researchers have expressed many different views on the topic, and the meaning of the word style is controversial. The idea that style is like a man is widely shared. This paper also thinks that style is the symbol of the writer, but from the reader's point of view, the style should be the symbol of the work and the whole characteristic of the work. The translator should try his best to convey the original style to the target language readers. This paper mainly studies the two Chinese versions of reason and emotion from the perspective of stylistic transmission, and attempts to combine the Chinese translation theory with Eugene Nida's dynamic equivalence theory and Peter Newmark's relevance Translation. And used in the two versions of the comparative analysis. In this study, the author not only contrasts the original and the translated works, but also analyzes the similarities and differences between the two versions at the lexical, textual and rhetorical levels. This paper argues that the faithful transmission of the original works is not only the inheritance of the traditional Chinese translation studies but also the essential requirement of translation. The target language readers' reflection can be taken as a measure of translation work and translation criticism and a supplement to the traditional criteria.
