求同去异之旅——萧军长篇小说《八月的乡村》的英译

【摘要】：萧军的《八月的乡村》是第一部被翻译为英文并在英美世界获得热烈反响的中国现代长篇小说。国际形势变化带来的源语国家和目的语国家的利益趋同是该小说走向异域的推动力,小说的译介策略及接受也都体现出求同倾向,而源文本中的异质因素则被译介者和接受者逐层过滤消解。因此,《八月的乡村》的异域之旅不啻为一次"求同去异"之旅。
[Abstract]:Xiao Jun's country of August is the first Chinese modern long novel translated into English and reechoed in the Anglo American world. The converging interest of the source and target countries brought by the change of international situation is the driving force of the novel towards the foreign region. The translation strategy and acceptance of the novel also reflect the tendency to seek the same, and the source text. The heterogeneity factor is filtered by the translator and the receiver layer by layer. Therefore, the "August village" tour is a journey of seeking common ground and dissimilarity.
