中美新闻报道中关于钓鱼岛争端的批评性语篇分析

【摘要】:随着信息网络和传播技术的不断发展,大众传媒正在人们的现代社会生活中发挥着越来越重要的作用。作为重要的传播媒介形式和新闻语篇中的一种,新闻报道在为人们提供信息、娱乐,丰富人们的文化生活的同时,又在潜移默化中影响和改变着人们的认知,行为和价值观。新闻的这种影响力使得新闻话语引起了批评性话语分析研究者的特别兴趣。 批评性语篇分析通过对语篇语言形式及表述方法的分析从不同的角度和侧面来解释语言,,权利和意识形态三者的关系。从语言学,社会学,心理学等多个角度深入分析。近年来不断发展已经成为一种主要的话语分析方法。在上世纪七十年代末由英国语言学家Roger Fowler和Gunther Kress等人提出批评性话语分析,之后经过不断发展批评性话语成为语言学的一个分支,韩礼德的系统功能语言学为批评性语篇分析提供了主要的理论依据。 本文在在批评语篇性语篇分析理论的指导下,以费尔克劳的三维模式为理论框架,采取了韩礼德的系统功能语法所提供的分析工具。对中国媒体(China Daily)和美国媒体(New York TimesLos Angeles Times)关于钓鱼岛争端的三十篇新闻报道进行了详细、深入的分析和对比。本文根据费尔克拉夫的三向度模型从不同层面对搜集的新闻报道进行了对比分析。以韩礼德系统功能语法为分析工具从以词汇分类、及物性分析、互文性、转述方式作等多个方面系统分析。并通过研究真实环境下的会文化背景来揭示新闻语篇中潜在的意识形态。 本文具有一定现实意义和教学意义。通过研究发现对于普通读者来说提高批评语言意识具有重要意义。通过提高批评意识,大众才能更为透彻的新闻事件,从而提高的反控制意识。本文的教学意义在于,通过研究发现当前的阅读教学着重于语法和词汇教学,教师对社会文化背景知识的教学不够重视。因此并要重点培养学生在阅读过程中,尤其是新闻语篇阅读过程中的批评语言意识,使其熟悉新闻报刊中常用的语言策略,实现批评性阅读,从而提高其新闻英语的阅读能力以及写作能力。
[Abstract]:With the continuous development of information network and communication technology, mass media is playing a more and more important role in people's modern social life. News reports not only provide people with information, entertainment, enrich people's cultural life, but also influence and change people's cognition. This influence of news has aroused the special interest of CDA researchers. Critical discourse analysis explains the relationship among language, right and ideology from different angles and sides through the analysis of linguistic forms and methods of expression. In recent years, it has become a major method of discourse analysis. In -30s, critical discourse analysis was proposed by British linguists Roger Fowler and Gunther Kress. After the continuous development of critical discourse as a branch of linguistics, Halliday's systemic functional linguistics provides the main theoretical basis for critical discourse analysis. Under the guidance of critical discourse analysis theory, this thesis takes Fairclaw's three-dimensional model as the theoretical framework. Using the analytical tools provided by Halliday's systematic functional grammar, the paper details 30 news reports on the Diaoyu Islands dispute by the Chinese media York China Daily and the US media New York TimesLos Angeles times. Based on Felke's three-dimension model, this paper makes a comparative analysis of the collected news reports from different levels. Using Halliday system functional grammar as a tool of analysis, from the perspective of lexical classification, and transitivity analysis, intertextuality. The way of reporting is systematically analyzed in many aspects, and the potential ideology in news discourse is revealed by studying the cultural background in the real context. This paper has some practical significance and teaching significance. Through the research, it is found that it is of great significance for ordinary readers to raise the awareness of critical language. By raising the awareness of criticism, the public can have a more thorough news event. The purpose of this paper is to find out that the current reading teaching focuses on grammar and vocabulary teaching. Teachers do not pay enough attention to the teaching of social and cultural background knowledge. Therefore, it is necessary to focus on cultivating students' critical language awareness in reading, especially in the process of reading news discourses, so as to familiarize them with the language strategies commonly used in newspapers and periodicals. To achieve critical reading, so as to improve their journalistic English reading ability and writing ability.
