【摘要】：《伦理智慧》这本书，内容丰富，语言生动活泼，运用多种修辞，是一本滋养人们心灵的读物，是少有的既富知识性，又富趣味性的好书。全书共五部分，每部分围绕一个伦理主题展开论述。此次翻译选择的是第三和第五部分，内容上分别围绕忠诚和圣洁展开。比喻、拟人、排比、反复、典故、对偶等修辞格的大量运用，是原文的一大特色，形成了原文独特的文体和语言风格。正是这些修辞格使得原文生动活泼，形象丰富，妙趣横生，通俗易懂，增强了表达效果和可读性。因而，译者以严复的信作为原则和标准，尽量再现原文的修辞格，，最大程度地保留原文的文体和风格。所采用的翻译方法,依据对形象的不同处理方法，主要分为保留形象，增加形象或阐释，替换形象以及忽略形象，从而在最大程度上忠实于原文。该报告介绍了本次翻译任务,并对整个翻译过程进行了描述，涉及原文、作者、译前的词典、参考书、平行文本的选择，翻译的过程安排，译后的质量控制。基于严复的信以及译者对原文修辞特征的分析，该翻译报告重点讨论修辞的翻译，并依据对形象的不同处理方法，分别进行了详细的译例分析。在最后，对这次翻译进行了总结：翻译要以严复的信为标准和原则，将理论和实践相结合，而翻译则是一个动态的过程。
[Abstract]:This book is rich in content, lively in language, and used in many kinds of rhetoric. It is a kind of reading which nourishes people's soul and is a rare good book with rich knowledge and interest.The book consists of five parts, each of which focuses on an ethical theme.The third and fifth parts of the translation are chosen, which focus on loyalty and holiness respectively.Metaphor, personification, comparison, repetition, allusions, duality and other rhetorical devices are a major feature of the original, forming the original unique style and language style.It is these figures of speech that make the original lively, vivid, interesting, easy to understand, and more expressive and readable.Therefore, the translator regards Yan Fu's letter as the principle and criterion, tries to reproduce the rhetorical figure of the original text, and preserves the style and style of the original text to the maximum extent.According to the different processing methods of image, the translation methods are divided into three categories: preserving image, adding image or explanation, replacing image and neglecting image, so as to be faithful to the original text to the greatest extent.The report introduces the task of translation and describes the whole process of translation, covering the source, author, pre-translation dictionary, reference book, selection of parallel texts, process arrangements for translation, and post-translation quality control.Based on Yan Fu's letter and the translator's analysis of the rhetorical features of the original text, the translation report focuses on the translation of rhetoric, and gives a detailed analysis of examples according to different approaches to image.In the end, the author summarizes this translation: translation should be based on Yan Fu's letter as a standard and principle, combining theory with practice, and translation is a dynamic process.
