译学术语释义研究

【摘要】：世界上有记载的翻译活动至今已有两三千年的历史,系统的译学研究在20世纪五六十年代在国外开始。不论国内的译学研究还是国外的译学研究都经历了个从开始、发展到最后成熟的过程。期间译学知识的大量积累以及非富的翻译实践为译学词典的编纂提供了良好的基础。同时,一套覆盖整个学科的词典标志着一门学科的成熟。随着翻译学作为一门独立学科的发展和该学科话语体系的建立，，译学词典相继出现。术语学是20世纪70年代中叶在词汇学的基础上产生的一门新的学科。作为应用语言学的一个分支,术语学主要研究术语的特征和一般规律。术语学与一系列科学密切相关,其中与翻译学有着密切的联系。任何词典的编纂都离不开术语条目。作为译学词典的核心条目,术语的特点及术语的准确定义对研究译学术语有着非常重要的作用。因此术语学的基本原理和术语工作方法将对译学词典的编纂提供理论指导,同时区对译学术语的释义也有着指导作用。术语是某一特定学科区别于其他学科的重要标志之一。译学术语是译学体系的重要要素,是译学研究走向的一面镜子,它反映了译学发展的轨迹。译学术语建设对整个译学研究体系的构建有着十分重要的作用。而释义是词典的灵魂,是词典质量高低的重要标准之一。这样译学术语的释义研究就显得尤为重要,好的释义对译学术语的发展有着积极地推动作用,同时对译学词典的编纂和整个译学体系的建设都意义重大。目前译学词典的编纂和理论研究尚未引起真正的关注,存在译学词典编纂先行,理论研究滞后的现象。译学词典编纂中译学术语释义方面也存在不少问题。因此本文拟借助术语学的相关理论对译学术语的释义进行研究。本文根据已有专科词典的经验,并结合翻译学学科自身的特点,以目前国内外出版的译学词典中的译学术语为例,系统全而地闸述了译学术语释义应遵循的七个原则并介绍了释义程式的编写。希望能为以后译学词典的编纂及研究提供帮助。同时,文章指出尽管概括总结了译学术语释义的一般原则,但具体的运用还要根据不同类型的词典具体的进行分析。本研究的意义在于理论上译学术语释义研究将有利于译学词典和整个译学的发展。而且译学术语释义的研究将更好地推动专科词典的编纂和研究。实践上译学术语释义研究将为译学词典的编纂提供理论指导,从而编纂出更高质量的译学词典。
[Abstract]:There have been two or three thousand years of recorded translation activities in the world. Systematic translation studies began in the 1950s and 1960s abroad. Both domestic and foreign translatology studies have undergone a process from the beginning, development to the final maturity. The accumulation of translation knowledge and non-rich translation practice provide a good basis for the compilation of translatological dictionaries. At the same time, a set of dictionaries covering the whole subject marks the maturity of a subject. With the development of translatology as an independent discipline and the establishment of its discourse system, translatology dictionaries have emerged one after another. Terminology is a new discipline that emerged from lexicology in the mid-1970s. As a branch of applied linguistics, terminology mainly studies the characteristics and general laws of terms. Terminology is closely related to a series of sciences, including translation studies. No dictionary can be compiled without terms. As the core item of translation dictionary, the characteristics of terms and the precise definition of terms play an important role in the study of translation academic language. Therefore, the basic principles and working methods of terminology will provide theoretical guidance for the compilation of translatological dictionaries, as well as the interpretation of translation academic language. Terminology is one of the important signs that a particular discipline is different from other disciplines. Translation academic language is an important element of translatology system and a mirror of the trend of translatology research. It reflects the track of the development of translatology. The construction of translation academic language plays an important role in the construction of the whole translatology research system. Interpretation is the soul of dictionaries and one of the important standards of dictionary quality. In this way, the research on the interpretation of translation academic language is particularly important. Good interpretation plays an active role in promoting the development of translation academic language. At the same time, the compilation of translation dictionaries and the construction of the whole translation system are of great significance. At present, the compilation and theoretical study of translatological dictionaries have not attracted real attention, and there is a phenomenon that translation dictionaries are first compiled and theoretical research lags behind. There are also many problems in the interpretation of translation in the compilation of translatological dictionaries. Therefore, this paper intends to study the interpretation of academic translation with the help of the relevant theories of terminology. Based on the experience of the existing specialized dictionaries and the characteristics of the subject of translation studies, this paper takes the translation academic language in the translatological dictionaries published at home and abroad as an example. This paper describes the seven principles that should be followed in the interpretation of the translated academic language and introduces the compilation of the interpretation program. It is hoped that it will be helpful for the compilation and research of translation dictionaries in the future. At the same time, the paper points out that although the general principles of translation interpretation are summarized, the specific application should be analyzed according to different types of dictionaries. The significance of this study is that the theoretical study of translation interpretation will be conducive to the development of translation dictionaries and translation studies as a whole. Moreover, the study of translation interpretation will better promote the compilation and study of specialized dictionaries. The study of translation interpretation in practice will provide theoretical guidance for the compilation of translatological dictionaries and thus produce a higher quality translatology dictionary.
