毒品案件审讯口译实践报告

【摘要】：随着外国人在中国适量的增加，犯罪案件的数量不断上升。其中，毒品案件数量居多。此类型案件，嫌疑人以非洲人为主，英语口语重、文化水平低。但同时，法律审讯具有较强的司法性。毒品案件中的翻译情况，直接影响到公检法机关对案情真实性的了解，影响法律的权威性和公平性。本文讨论的是2014年5月至2015年1月发生的20余次的毒品审讯项目。项目平均每次1.5小时，均在看守所进行。通过对项目过程的了解和译文案例的分析，报告重点探讨此类翻译中译者应该重视的三个方面：译前准备，译中语言层次的困难与解决方法和口译员的角色互动问题。报告表明，毒品案件审讯作为司法的一部分，具有很强的程序性和逻辑性。同时，面对司法专业性和嫌疑人文化水平低的情况，要准备两套不同的表达方式。并且，，在快节奏的审讯过程中，要保持快速的反应，并确保准确性。该报告期待在日后此类翻译中就信息传递和人际互动两方面为翻译工作者提供一些借鉴。
[Abstract]:With the increase of foreigners in China, the number of criminal cases is on the rise. Among them, the number of drug cases in the majority. In this type of case, the suspects are mainly Africans with heavy spoken English and low education level. But at the same time, the legal trial has a strong judicial nature. The translation of drug cases directly affects the understanding of the truth of the case by the Public Security Bureau, the procuratorate and the court organ, and affects the authority and fairness of the law. This paper discusses more than 20 drug trials from May 2014 to January 2015. The project, which averaged 1.5 hours each time, was carried out in a detention centre. Based on the understanding of the project process and the analysis of translation cases, the report focuses on three aspects that translators should pay attention to in such translation: pre-translation preparation, difficulties at the linguistic level in translation and their solutions and the interaction of interpreters' roles. The report shows that drug trials, as part of the judiciary, are highly procedural and logical. At the same time, in the face of judicial professionalism and low level of education of suspects, we should prepare two different expressions. Also, during a fast-paced interrogation, be quick to respond and ensure accuracy. The report looks forward to providing some references for translators in information transmission and interpersonal interaction in such translation in the future.
