基于顺应理论的化妆品说明书的汉译

【摘要】:随着经济全球化的迅速发展,越来越多的国外商品尤其是各种各样品牌的外国化妆品涌入中国市场,如何让消费者了解其产品并在中国市场上赢得一席之地,一份高质量化妆品说明书汉译以更好的满足中国消费者对国外化妆品的需求显得尤为重。目前化妆品说明书的汉译在国内的翻译研究是一个薄弱环节,其翻译过程缺乏系统的理论指导且研究视角狭窄,取得的成果屈指可数。因此文章试从一个新的视角顺应理论出发研究化妆品说明书的汉译。 Verschueren的语言顺应论从一个全新的视角去理解和阐释当今的语用学,他指出语言的使用是一个不断地进行语言选择的过程,这种选择不仅发生在语言结构任何层次上,同时也发生在交际的语境中。动态顺应是顺应论的核心,指出任何语言的使用都要根据语言结构和交际语境做出相应的动态顺应。化妆品说明书的翻译是一种跨文化的语言交际活动,为了取得成功的交际,达到双方的文化认知效果,交际双方都要根据语境采取相应的动态顺应,所以用语用学的顺应论来指导化妆品说明书汉译的翻译可行的。因此文章以顺应理论为指导,,化妆品说明书汉译的原则为基础,结合化妆品说明书汉译的语料,指出在化妆品说明书的汉译的过程中,动态顺应作为一种翻译策略,译者如何从动态顺应语言语境和文化语境方面采取恰当的翻译策略和方法从而达到翻译的目的。在语言层面上翻译策略主要体现在字词句以及修辞和篇章方面上,其中字词的顺应主要包括词性的转变以及大量形容词和四字词的运用;句法的顺应主要包括简短句和主动句的使用;修辞的顺应主要包括比喻、对仗和谐音的运用;篇章的顺应主要包括篇章内容和篇章形式的改变。在文化层面上翻译策略主要体现在人的内在世界和人所处的社会世界这两个方面,前者主要从人的认知、思维方式以及审美观来分析,后者主要从社会的风俗、特征以及法律角度来分析。通过研究发现:顺应理论为化妆品说明书的汉译提供了一个有效可行的理论框架,启发译者根据语言和文化语境采取相应的翻译策略和方法,翻译出高质量的化妆品说明书汉译。文章在一定程度上促进了化妆品说明书汉译的研究,具有一定的意义。
[Abstract]:With the rapid development of economic globalization, more and more foreign commodities, especially foreign cosmetics of various brands, are pouring into the Chinese market. How to make consumers understand their products and win a place in the Chinese market, A Chinese translation of a high-quality cosmetic manual is particularly important to meet the needs of Chinese consumers for foreign cosmetics. At present, the translation of cosmetics instructions into Chinese is a weak link in China. The translation process lacks systematic theoretical guidance and narrow research perspective, and only a few achievements have been achieved. Therefore, this paper tries to study the translation of cosmetic instructions from a new perspective of adaptation theory. Verschueren's linguistic adaptation Theory interprets and interprets today's pragmatics from a new perspective. He points out that language use is a continuous process of language choice, which occurs not only at any level of language structure, but also at any level. It also occurs in the context of communication. Dynamic adaptation is the core of adaptation theory. It is pointed out that the use of any language should be based on the linguistic structure and communicative context. The translation of cosmetic instructions is a cross-cultural communicative activity. In order to achieve a successful communication and achieve the cultural cognitive effect of both sides, both parties should adopt the corresponding dynamic adaptation according to the context. Therefore, it is feasible to use pragmatics adaptation theory to guide the translation of cosmetics instructions into Chinese. Therefore, based on the theory of adaptation, the principle of translating cosmetic instructions into Chinese, and the Chinese translation of cosmetics instructions, this paper points out that dynamic adaptation is a translation strategy in the process of translating cosmetics instructions into Chinese. How do translators adopt appropriate translation strategies and methods in terms of dynamic adaptation and cultural context in order to achieve the purpose of translation? On the linguistic level, translation strategies are mainly embodied in words and phrases, rhetoric and text, in which the adaptation of words mainly includes the transformation of part of speech and the use of a large number of adjectives and four-character words. Syntactic adaptation mainly includes the use of short sentences and active sentences; rhetorical adaptation mainly includes metaphor and the use of harmonious sound; textual adaptation mainly includes the changes of text content and text form. On the cultural level, translation strategies are mainly reflected in the inner world of man and the social world in which he is located. The former is mainly analyzed in terms of human cognition, mode of thinking and aesthetic standards, while the latter is mainly based on social customs. Characteristics and legal perspective to analyze. It is found that the adaptation theory provides an effective and feasible theoretical framework for the translation of cosmetics instructions into Chinese and enlightens the translator to adopt corresponding translation strategies and methods according to the linguistic and cultural context. Translate high-quality cosmetic instructions into Chinese. To a certain extent, the article promotes the study of Chinese translation of cosmetics instructions.
