赴泰汉语教师志愿者跨文化适应调查报告

【摘要】:随着“汉语热”的上升,为了满足国外汉语学习者的需求,中国汉办每年定期向各国派遣大量的汉语教师志愿者。然而,随着教师队伍不断壮大,各种各样的跨文化适应问题也日渐凸显。作为赴泰汉语教师志愿者的一员,本人根据自身实践经历,结合前人研究成果,采用文献法、调查法、统计法、访谈法对部分汉语教师志愿者的跨文化适应情况展开实证研究。首先对52位志愿者进行量化问卷调查,涉及志愿者基本资料、社会文化适应、心理适应、社会支持、大五人格、跨文化适应策略、生活满意度和早回国意向八项内容;然后对21位志愿者进行质性访谈调查,内容包括志愿者赴任前对泰国的了解程度、出国目的和期望、跨文化经历、语言水平、人文环境、留任意向等。通过运用统计软件对数据进行相关性检验以及综合讨论分析得出,影响志愿者社会文化适应的因素有志愿者获得的社会支持、志愿者的社交性人格、志愿者采取的跨文化适应整合策略;而社会支持、大五人格、跨文化适应策略都不是影响心理适应的主要因素。调查还得出赴泰志愿者受到的社会支持比较充分,大五人格中志愿者表现出弱适应性的、中向、温和、低利他性的主要人格,志愿者所采取的跨文化适应策略主要为整合策略。跨文化适应的总体情况是志愿者的社会文化适应程度良好,而心理适应程度欠佳。针对此情况,作者从志愿者的选拔环节、培训环节及中泰方日常管理环节和志愿者个人方面分别提出了建议。
[Abstract]:With the rise of "Chinese craze", in order to meet the needs of foreign Chinese learners, China Han Office regularly sends a large number of Chinese teacher volunteers to various countries every year. However, with the growing ranks of teachers, a variety of cross-cultural adaptation issues have become increasingly prominent. As a member of Chinese teacher volunteers in Thailand, according to my own practical experience, combined with the previous research results, using the literature method, investigation method, statistical method, interview method to some Chinese teachers volunteers cross-cultural adaptation of the empirical study. First of all, 52 volunteers were investigated by quantitative questionnaire, which involved the basic information of volunteers, sociocultural adaptation, psychological adaptation, social support, big five personality, cross-cultural adaptation strategy, life satisfaction and early return intention. Then 21 volunteers were interviewed qualitatively including their understanding of Thailand the purpose and expectation of going abroad cross-cultural experience language level humanistic environment and intention to stay. By using statistical software to test the correlation of the data and analyze the comprehensive discussion, it is concluded that the factors influencing the social and cultural adaptation of volunteers are the social support obtained by volunteers, the social personality of volunteers. While social support, big five personality and cross-cultural adaptation strategies are not the main factors affecting psychological adaptation. It was also found that the social support received by volunteers in Thailand was relatively adequate. Volunteers in the Big five personality showed weak adaptability moderate low altruism and the cross-cultural adaptation strategies adopted by volunteers were mainly integration strategies. The general situation of cross-cultural adaptation is that the social and cultural adaptation of volunteers is good, but the degree of psychological adaptation is poor. In view of this situation, the author puts forward some suggestions from the aspects of volunteer selection, training, daily management of China and Thailand and individual volunteers.
