形式—功能错位的协调机制

形式-功能错位是指语言实体在进入句法环境后表现出的形式与功能的不同态现象。在自然语言中,形式-功能错位的例子并不少见,并且表现在语言描写的各个层面。形式-功能错位的句法语义界面研究有助于语法理论的建构和发展。在本文中,我们主要限于短语层面的讨论。词项在使用中表现出的句法组构乖戾及语义乖戾无外乎包括两种结果：语义阻隔或词项在句法环境下的语义适应过程。本文主要探讨第二种情况。从目前对该问题的研究来看,大体上包括三种解释途径,即概念函项和语义算子插入,构式压制以及转／隐喻过程。以上几种方法各有特点,可以在一定程度上协调形式-功能错位的产生,但他们因对某一理论模型的偏爱或由于解释方法自身存在的局限而往往出现捉襟见肘,难以应付的局面。本文在认知语言学的理论框架下,从语法构式和高层转喻两个方面对形式-功能错位进行探析。高层转喻与语法构式一样,具有较高的图示化水平,因而能够解释语法结构上的变化。在形式-功能错位中,词项表现出的句法组构乖戾是参照了其基本的词汇构型和组合规律,对词项语义结构的再分析表现为在“优先原则”下,通过构式压制,词项被压制出相应的语义类型,从而实现句法环境下的形式自由。词项压制义...
