中美大学生威胁言语行为对比研究

【摘要】：笔者对国内外近20年来的有关言语行为的文献进行了搜索，发现有3篇专门论述威胁言语行为的论文。这3篇文章所使用的语言皆为英语，并都以英语国家为背景。虽然许多其他的学者在他们文章中也顺便提到过威胁言语行为，但是学术界对这一言语行为的理解还只停留在直觉上。 本文对中美大学生威胁言语行为进行了对比研究，第一次比较系统地研究了威胁言语行为在中美大学生中的实施情况。具体内容包括：威胁言语行为的实现模式、人们为达到最终目的所采取的各种策略、社会变量对实现模式和策略选择的影响。 本文采用了定性研究与定量研究相结合的方法。笔者以前人的相关研究成果以及笔者与自己的美国学习伙伴之间的交流为基础，设计了两种调查问卷，分别对美国的Towson University和中国的安徽大学的不同专业的四个班级的84名和86名学生进行了问卷调查。在170份有效问卷所包括的1360个情景当中，有935个情景中出现了威胁言语行为，，其中有480个情景中的威胁言语行为由中国大学生发出，455个由美国大学生发出。 在对问卷全面分析和研究的基础上，笔者首先提出了3种威胁言语行为的实现模式。X~2检验结果表明这3种实现模式在中美大学生之间存在着文化差异，在两国间的同性和异性比较上也有统计学上的显著差异，但是在各自国家内不存在性别差异。 接着，笔者又提出了实施威胁言语行为的4种具体策略。X~2检验结果显示这4种实施策略在中美大学生之间存在着文化差异，在两国间的女性和异性比较上也有统计学上的显著差异，但是在两国间的男性比较上没有显著差异，在各自国家内也不存在性别差异。 本文还考虑了社会距离、相对权力和社会场景在人们决定发出威胁言语行为时所起的作用。X~2检验结果证实社会距离和相对权力在两个国家间、两国间的同性和异性以及各自国家内的异性之间所发挥的作用是相同的，对实现模式也没有影响。但是社会场景却是人们在打算发出威胁言语行为时不得不考虑的因素，因为本文所研究的三个场景的诱导率之间存在着统计学上的显著差异。为了进一
