校园语码转换研究

【摘要】： 语码转换是指操双语者在同一或不同话轮中对两种语言进行交替使用的双语现象或言语行为。语码转换是语言之间发生接触,互动的必然结果。因此在当前中国国际交流日益频繁,英/汉双语使用者日益增多的背景下,英/汉语码转换现象日渐普遍,并已成为一个重要的研究领域。句法学家、会话分析学家、社会语言学家、心理学家、甚至人类学家都对语码转换现象颇为关注。二十世纪六十年代末开始,国外学者已从不同的角度对语码转换现象进行了研究,提出了一些语码转换模式并进行了验证。我国的语码转换研究起步于二十世纪末,但大多属于文献类研究,有关汉语与其他语言之间的语码转换(如汉英语码转换)的实证研究尚不多。 本文以当代高校为背景,以当代高校学生之间日常语码转换为研究对象,运用定量和定性分析的方式,旨在阐述当代大学生研究生语码转换的语言特点以及随着时代的变化高校大学生语码转换的一些新动机。分析显示,大学生中英文语码转换符合MLF理论。句内转换,单词转换的比例重于句际转换和短语转换;名词,动词,形容词等主要的单词转换各具特征。由英文转换为中文基本上遵循中文这种无屈折变化的语法形式,但是也有特殊情况。此外,校园语码转换作为语言资源优化配置的结果和一种有效交际策略,可以被操英汉双语的大学生用来顺应语言制约,社会-文化规约以及交际心理意图,从而实现交际效用的最大化。学生通过英汉语码转换而实现的语言表达效果,比坚持汉语单语模式的表达效果更加令人满意。 对英/汉语码转换进行研究,不仅有助于发现双语使用者的语言使用规律和交际策略,而且有助于探索语码转换在外来语的引入吸收,丰富汉语词库,以及长期语言变迁过程中所起的重要作用。 可以预言,中国学生日常会话中的英汉语码转换现象将会继续存在下去。因为,除了其会话功能之外,在会话中进行语码转换还是EFL学习者在英语学习过程中的一种有益和有效形式。随着社会的发展和中外文化交流的日益频繁,英汉语码转换将会在更大的范围内发生,并将产生更多的值得我们研究的新问题。
