英汉演讲辞中衔接手段的对比研究

　　衔接手段是语篇研究的重要对象之一。随着Halliday and Hasan《英语的衔接》一书的出版,衔接理论就受到语言学界和翻译界的关注。国内外的不少学者力图探索衔接在谋篇布局和确保语篇连贯方面所发挥的作用。衔接被认为是构成语篇连贯的必要条件之一,所以在篇章翻译中占据着重要的地位。受此启发,本文拟从篇章分析的角度对英汉演讲辞中的衔接手段做详尽而系统的对比分析,并从大量的例证中归纳系统的翻译策略。以往对英汉衔接手段的对比分析,大都是建立在文学作品的基础上,所以其研究结果未必适用于演讲辞这种特殊的文本。演讲辞有其自身的特点:结构紧凑,语言简明,目的性强,准确。此外,以往的研究主要运用定性的研究方法,本文将采用实例语料和定量分析并结合定性分析的方法对英汉演讲辞中的各种衔接手段做系统的分析。为了确保研究结果的科学性,本文研究语料的选取需具备以下三个条件:英汉演讲辞的话题相同或相似;总体长度一致;演讲人是社会地位相当的名人。通过研究分析,本文有如下发现:（1）总的来说,在文本字数相当的前提下,英语演讲辞中的衔接手段远远多于汉语演讲辞;（2）各种衔接手段的使用情况不同,在英语演讲辞中,替代<...
