A Skopos Approach to Translation of Medical Device Software

　　随着经济全球化进程的积极推动,在产品设计技术日新月异、国际市场需求高速增长的背景下,医疗器械的跨国销售也逐渐成为医疗器械行业的发展战略之一,从而软件本地化行业也得到了推动和快速发展。而作为软件本地化的一部分,软件翻译变得极其重要,不仅仅是因为软件的本地化水平将反映一个国家的发展水平,还因为医疗器械关乎病人的生命。劣质的本地化软件可能导致操作人员的误操作,得出不正确的结果,进而影响医生对病人的误诊,最终延误疾病的治疗,甚至可能会危及病人生命。本文通过对软件本地化的介绍,对功能目的论进行回顾和总结,对医疗器械软件字符串的词汇、句法和风格特点进行归纳,将功能目的论三原则、翻译纲要和文化专属应用到软件字符串翻译中,并总结出一套适用的翻译方法。此外,本文建议医疗器械软件字符串的翻译应结合字符串本身的特点以及医疗器械产品的特殊性,在实现翻译目的的前提下,使译文能最大限度地具有与原文对等的功能,并使得目标语用户能方便地使用本地化后的医疗器械产品。
