中美大学主页上校长欢迎辞的体裁对比研究

本文采用Bhatia的体裁分析方法,对比分析中国和美国大学主页上的校长欢迎辞这一语篇。为此,本文收集并建立了一个包含30篇中国大学校长欢迎辞和30篇美国大学校长欢迎辞的语料库,从语步结构和文本分析两个角度展开对比研究。研究主要发现如下:首先,中美大学校长欢迎辞的主要交际目的都是宣传本学校的优势和特色。其次,在语步结构上,中美大学校长欢迎辞各由10个常见的语步组成,其中7个为两者共有,其余三个则为各自特有的语步。除了共有语步和特有语步外,中美校长欢迎辞还各自拥有一些边缘语步和独特语步。7个共有语步的特点之一是都由一个必要步骤决定其内容。此外,我们还发现中国大学校长欢迎辞的语步拥有更多的选择性步骤。对文本的语言特征分析则发现中美大学都使用大量的形容词来突出描写本学校的特色,以此来吸引学生。同时,不同语步在关键词和人称代词的使用上也存在显著差异。相比美国大学校长欢迎辞,中国大学校长欢迎辞在语篇结构上较松散,缺乏较强的一致性。同时,在语言使用上,双方也存在明显差异。最后,本文概况总结了这些差异所反映的中美大学之间的不同点,并从两国不同的社会和文化背景角度探讨了造成这种差异的原因。本文对中国大学...
