意象图式在意义构建过程中的作用

认知语用学认为,意义构建是概念化的过程,受语境影响,也是对言语行为的推理理解过程。所谓言语行为有直接言语行为和间接言语行为之分。大部分直接言语行为不需要意义构建的推理过程。然而,间接言语行为的话语含义无法直接从语言表达式中获取,说话者真正的意图需进行推理和意义构建过程。本论文研究的焦点在于间接言语行为意义获取的认知机制,即,通过转喻思维推理获取含义,提出转喻的认知基础是意象图示,并将后者分为两大类:[1]容器;[2]部分-整体。本文意在心理模型和语用推理模型结合的基础上,诠释间接言语行为的运作机制。总之,本文以认知语用学为指导视角,重点研究意象图式作为认知机制如何通过转喻实现推理,在语境限制下获取含义。具体说来,本文遵循Panther和Thornburg (1997)的转喻观点,即转喻在间接言语行为中的操作也具有指称转喻的部分-整体特点,并指出传统的间接言语行为研究只做到听话者推理说话者意图这一步,即未澄清言语识解的认知推理模式。而转喻一直被视作是自然推理图示,并重新释义为交际中司空见惯的思维和语言现象。(Lakoff&Johnson,1980/2003)鉴上,本文研究焦点落实...
