释意派理论观照下的记者招待会翻译策略

【摘要】： 本论文研究的是在记者招待会中所使用的口译策略。论文主要从释意派理论的角度出发,采用探索性及解释性的研究方法分析温家宝总理2003年至2007年两会记者招待会口译材料,从而总结出当中所使用的口译策略。本研究旨在为译员的口译实践提供一些指导。 本文章首先对释意派理论及记者招待会翻译做了详细介绍。接下来,作者从释意派理论的角度,分析影响记者招待会翻译的因素及记者招待会翻译所要达到的要求。在此基础上,论文提出了记者招待会翻译的策略,并引用温家宝总理2003年到2007年两会记者招待会口译材料当中的例子予以说明。 通过这一研究,我们发现:首先,根据释意派理论,影响记者招待会翻译的因素包括说话人的身份、目的、政治立场及文化背景;听者的身份和文化背景以及译员的语言知识和对认知补充的掌握。其次,按照以上影响因素,记者招待会翻译的要求包括对意思、政治信息、文化信息、情感信息及风格的完整及准确翻译。最后,在此基础上,本文总结出记者招待会的五种口译策略。他们分别是信息补充、解释性翻译、意译、逻辑加工与句型转换。 总而言之,从释意派的角度研究记者招待会口译策略是个有意义的尝试。译员可在口译实践中参考本文所提出的口译策略,以取得较好的翻译效果。
