隐喻理解的示能性问题研究

【摘要】：现当代隐喻研究突破了传统隐喻研究的局限,并试图全面解释隐喻现象的实质及其机制。但是,此类研究更多地将注意力放在隐喻的理解过程或意义解析上面,而极少涉及隐喻的生成机制。因此,本文借助示能性理论框架,研究了作为一种意向性活动的隐喻的生成机制和理解问题。本文采用定性分析法和跨学科研究方法探讨隐喻理解的有关问题,目的是在示能性理论框架下探讨作为一种意向性活动的隐喻的生成机制和理解问题,揭示了示能性在隐喻这一主体意向性活动中发挥的基础性作用,并说明其在理解隐喻生成机制和意义解读过程中具有强大的解释力。此外,本研究展示了其相较于其他隐喻理论的优势,解决了此类理论存在的相关问题。研究发现,隐喻的具体使用总是直接体现主体意向性的,寄生了主体的意向价值取向。因此,可以说隐喻的使用是主体以其意向性为顶层设计的意向性活动,意向性作为主体意识的核心内容,是一次隐喻表达的初始动机,并贯穿整个过程。语境的示能性是使得主体能够做出言说这一意向性行为的可能性。言说本质上是以语境的示能性为基础的意向归属行为,而在一次具体的隐喻使用中,主体将其意向内容和意向态度调整为隐喻表达,其基础自然是语境的示能性。隐喻的听众或读者也是依赖语境的示能性对其意义或主体意向进行解读或辨识。意向归属和意向辨识构成了隐喻使用的全部。所以,语境中示能性是隐喻表达得以发生的基础。本研究通过分析语境的示能性,探讨了隐喻表达的基础和意义理解问题,揭示了隐喻现象背后的生成和认知机制,通过这些分析致力于为当代及以后的隐喻研究提供一个新的视角。
