文化视角对“习式演讲”的概念隐喻探析

【摘要】：国家领袖在国际场合发表的公众演讲往往传递着国家的方针、政策以及外交理念,具有重要的政治意义。习近平主席作为中国新一届的国家领导人更是在演讲风格上独树一帜,颇具“习式特色”,将官方话语的晦涩难懂演绎为质朴清新、通俗易懂。在Metaphors we Live By(1980)中,Lakoff和Johnson首次提出概念隐喻,他们认为人们借以思维和行动的概念系统本质上都是隐喻的,因此将概念隐喻运用于“习式演讲”的分析具有可操作性和可行性。同时,鉴于领袖演讲往往传递国家大政方针的重要信息,而在以往研究中却多以英语演讲语篇为研究文本。由此,本研究以官方网站发布的习近平演讲词为语料,选取其中十篇作为研究对象,基于MIP(Metaphor Identification Procedure by Pragglejaz Group)隐喻识别方法并结合定性和定量的分析方法来识别其中的隐喻表达概括出其背后的概念隐喻,通过引入文化维度对习式演讲进行分析,从而解读演讲中隐喻表达背后的文化精神及其所蕴含的国家政策、方针所基于的传统文化理念。研究发现:1.在“习式演讲”中出现的隐喻类型共十二种,主要有“疾病隐喻”、“机器隐喻”、“身体隐喻”、“耕种隐喻”、“航海隐喻”、“旅程隐喻”、“建筑隐喻”、“棋局隐喻”、“河流隐喻”、“邻居隐喻”“战争隐喻”以及“舞台隐喻”。2.特定隐喻类型的无意识构建有其相应的文化理据(论文中对“邻居隐喻”、“耕种隐喻”、“棋局隐喻”、“疾病隐喻”、“航海隐喻”、“战争隐喻”进行解读),且这种文化根源深刻地影响着隐喻的构建和认知,呼应了Kovecses在其著作Metaphor in Culture(2005)中所要表达的观点。3.由演讲中主要隐喻类型的使用以及对语料的分析,可以反映出习主席所强调的主题思想,即中国当前的主要任务仍然是努力营造和平的国内外环境,发展经济,不断提高人民生活水平,并与各国一道共同构建和谐世界。本文通过引入文化维度,在概念隐喻分析框架理论下对习式演讲进行分析,希望可以帮助外国友人更好地解读党的方针政策,弘扬中国的文化精神。
[Abstract]:The public speeches delivered by national leaders on international occasions often convey the principles, policies and foreign policy of the country and have important political significance. President Xi Jinping, as the new national leader of China, has a unique style of speech. The "idiosyncratic" interpretation of official discourse as pristine and easy to understand. In Metaphors we Live By/ 1980, Lakoff and Johnson proposed conceptual metaphors for the first time, arguing that the conceptual systems through which people think and act are essentially metaphorical. Therefore, the use of conceptual metaphors in the analysis of "conventional speech" is operational and feasible. At the same time, since leaders' speeches often convey important messages of national policy, However, most of the previous studies have focused on English speech discourses. As a result, ten of Xi Jinping's speeches published on the official website were selected as the research subjects. Based on the method of MIP(Metaphor Identification Procedure by Pragglejaz groups, this paper combines qualitative and quantitative methods to identify the conceptual metaphors behind the metaphorical expressions, and analyzes the idiomatic speech by introducing the cultural dimension. Therefore, the cultural spirit behind the metaphorical expression in speech, the national policy and the traditional cultural concept underlying the policy are interpreted. The study finds that there are 12 types of metaphors appearing in "conventional speech". There are mainly "disease metaphor", "machine metaphor", "body metaphor", "farming metaphor", "navigation metaphor", "journey metaphor", "architecture metaphor", "chess game metaphor", "river metaphor", "neighbor metaphor", "war metaphor" and "stage metaphor" .2. The unconscious construction of metaphorical types has its own cultural justifications ("neighbor metaphor", "farming metaphor", "chess metaphor", "disease metaphor", "nautical metaphor" and "war metaphor" in this paper. The construction and cognition of metaphor, Echoing the views expressed by Kovecses in his book Metaphor in Culture 2005, the use of the main types of metaphors in the speech and the analysis of the corpus can reflect the main themes emphasized by President Xi. That is, China's current main task is to build a peaceful domestic and foreign environment, develop the economy, improve the people's living standards, and work with other countries to build a harmonious world. It is hoped that the analysis of the traditional speech under the framework of conceptual metaphor analysis can help foreign friends to better interpret the Party's principles and policies and to carry forward the Chinese cultural spirit.
