异的考验——关于翻译伦理的对谈

【摘要】：不同语言与文化之间的差异性构成了翻译的必要性,而翻译的根本目标就在于打破文化隔阂、促进不同文化之间相互了解与融合。从这个意义来看,翻译活动中涉及的许多重要问题,就本质而言,是伦理层面的,即如何认识和对待自我与他者的关系问题。本文提出,无论从翻译的沟通与交流的根本属性来看,还是就翻译维护文化多样性的历史使命而言,尊重他者、尊重差异正是实现翻译伦理目标的基础与核心。同时,在中国文化"走出去"的时代背景下,中国文学的对外译介承载着中国文化对外传播与交流的战略意义,在目前"忠实"概念不断遭到质疑和解构的现状下,对忠实原则的坚守、对异质性的保留与传达,既是翻译伦理的要求,也是思想与文化得以继承和传播的必要条件。
[Abstract]:The differences between different languages and cultures constitute the necessity of translation, and the fundamental goal of translation is to break the cultural barrier and promote the mutual understanding and integration of different cultures.In this sense, many of the important issues involved in translation activities are ethical in nature, that is, how to understand and treat the relationship between self and others.From the perspective of the fundamental attributes of communication and communication in translation and the historical mission of maintaining cultural diversity in translation, it is proposed that respecting others and respecting differences is the foundation and core of achieving the ethical goal of translation.At the same time, under the background of "going out" of Chinese culture, the translation and introduction of Chinese literature to foreign countries carries the strategic significance of Chinese cultural communication and communication. At present, the concept of "faithfulness" is constantly questioned and deconstructed.The adherence to the principle of faithfulness and the reservation and communication of heterogeneity are not only the requirements of translation ethics, but also the necessary conditions for the inheritance and dissemination of thought and culture.
