目的论指导下的中文电影片名翻译

　　电影作为一种集各种媒介为一体的综合艺术,早已走进千家万户。随着外国电影的不断引进,我国的电影翻译在改革开放后也取得了蓬勃发展。许多翻译家开始注意到这个越来越重要的领域并且做出了巨大的贡献。片名作为电影的名片,承担十分重要的任务,是观众对电影的第一印象。因此,在我们大力推进中国文化走向世界的今天,作者认为中文电影片名的研究也应得到重视,为汉文化的传播贡献力量。电影片名有三种主要功能:信息功能,审美功能,祈使功能。这些中文电影片名的翻译可以帮助外国观众了解中国的社会国情、中国的历史、中国人民等等,以便加深彼此的理解和交流。因此电影翻译作为一种具有交际性的跨文化活动,应该在目的论的指导下进行翻译,实现其信息功能、审美功能以及祈使功能,并且最终实现片名的商业价值。短短几字的片名不应再局限于直译或者只实现其信息功能,而应以实现其祈使功能为目的,同时实现商业价值。本文是在德国功能主义的核心理论-目的论的指导下,提出片名翻译应以目的论为指导,采取灵活地翻译方式,实现片名的信息功能、审美功能以及祈使功能。各种翻译方法都可应用于片名翻译中,包括音译、直译、增译、减译等等。从目的论的角度看,各种翻译方法都...
