《圣经》汉译思想之变迁

　　《圣经》不仅是基督教的经典,也是世界上最重要的经典著作之一。《圣经》翻译源远流长,至唐代以来,《圣经》汉译已有1400多年的历史了,其重要性在中国历史上不容忽视。在这个漫长的时期内,历经很多传教士和中国学者的艰苦努力,出现了许多版本。在《圣经》的汉译过程中,面对不同宗教和不同文化的巨大差异,译者既要忠实于《圣经》的原典性,又要设法让中国人读懂,因此该经典的汉译过程也是中西文化碰撞和交流的过程。在这个过程中,《圣经》汉译思想也是在不断的探索中发生变迁。唐代,景教开始传入中国,面对强势的中国文化,景教士在译介时采取了比附佛道词汇,奉行尊重宗教概念本土化的翻译思想。明清之际,中国国势依然强盛,耶稣会士开始依附儒家及传统的中国文化观念并以“学术传教”的译介思想来宣传基督教义。19世纪初,马礼逊力求忠实、明达和简易,开始寻求忠实于文本的翻译思想。19世纪末20世纪初的《官话和合本》达到了《圣经》翻译的最高峰,其忠于原文本,甚至倾向于字面对等,使得该译本至今仍是中国基督教教会所使用的版本。20世纪后期的《现代中文译本》也是近代重要版本之一,其以奈达的动态对等为主要依归。本文通过梳理《圣经》汉译史上...
