Defining the Dialogue Interpreter’s Role from the Perspectiv

近年来,关于口译员在不同工作模式下的角色定位问题一直是学术界尤其是在口译学研究重心发生“文化转向”后的二十多年来备受关注的论题。传统观点普遍将口译员的工作理解为单纯的语言翻译,然而现实生活中,口译员承担的并不仅仅是语言翻译的工作。传统口译理论认为,口译活动只是由对话双方通过口译员的语言转换而进行的沟通互动,口译员常常被视为被动的“传声筒”。然而,在实际对话口译过程中,不同社会文化背景和不同话语系统的人们进行面对面的交际活动,形成动态的话语行为,在此过程中,为了帮助主要对话双方克服语言文化障碍,顺利实现跨文化交际,口译员不仅仅扮演“传声筒”的角色,还必须使用两种语言中的各种策略协调对话。本文主要尝试针对口译时译员在活动中承担的角色和发挥的作用进行再定位。首先系统线性回顾了现有口译研究文献中对口译员的角色问题的探讨和描述,同时说明口译操作模式的特殊性,当前认为口译员具有普遍性的角色定位观点并不能完全适用于对口译员的准确定位。紧接着对口译的性质和特征进行了分析和概括。鉴于目前对于口译的研究多从技巧方面入手,极少从语言学,尤其是话语分析的角度给与指导。本文拟用话语分析中的“话轮转换体制”解析口...
