英汉物指空间指示词语法化的认识研究

  空间指示现象(spatial deixis)在人类语言与外部现实世界相结合的过程中起着尤为重要的作用。在大多数语言里,空间指示通过各种各样的隐喻现象延伸到其他领域,被视为隐喻的根本出发点。作为空间指示现象中最基本的词汇,指示词反复出现在言语交际和各种书面文体中,一直是国内外语言学家的研究对象。指示词可分为指示和非指示两种用法,可用来指示物体、空间、时间、方式、程度等。本文旨在运用认知语言学中的语法化理论从共时的角度对英汉物指空间指示词(以下简称物指指示间)this、that、和这(zhe)、那(na)进行具体研究,并试图运用概念隐喻以及概念转喻理论分析英汉指示词语法化过程的认知机制。 首先,本文分别从语用和句法的角度对英汉物指指示词this、that和这(zhe)、那(na)的语法化做了具体研究。从语用角度考虑,物指指示词的用法可分基本用法和延伸用法。其中,基本用法包括语外用法及语内用法。语内用法可分为回指用法、篇章指示用法和识别用法。语外用法是最根本的用法,其他用法都是由语外用法延伸而来。从句法角度考虑,英汉物指指示词可以出现的句法环境有很多相似之处,他们都可以做指示代词和指示限定词...
