汉语儿童感知空宾结构与动词短语省略的研究

这是一项儿童语言感知的研究。省略是语言学的一项重要课题,大量文献探究与其相关的问题。在汉语中,研究的一个焦点在于空宾结构是否是动词短语省略结构。关于这一争议性话题,主要有两种观点:以Huang为代表的赞成空宾结构是动词短语省略结构;而Hoji和Xu却持反对意见。本文考察这两种省略结构之间的不同,旨在从儿童语言感知的角度为这个争议性问题提供一个新的视角。本文从三方面考察这两种省略结构:主动与被动句的对比;并列句与嫁接小句的对比;状语恢复中的平行与不平行情景的对比。36名年龄在四岁三个月和六岁九个月之间的汉语儿童以一岁的间隔分为三组,20名成人为对比组。用真值语法判断来测试他们对这两种省略结构的敏感度。基于对数据的分析,本实验得出以下研究结果:实验结果都表明成人和儿童受试者对这两种表面酷似的结构能区别对待。他们知道:1)动词短语省略结构在先行句是被动结构的语境下是不合语法的,而对于空宾结构,即使先行句是被动结构,句子仍合语法;2)动词短语省略结构只能用于并列句,不能出现在嫁接小句中,而空宾结构则在这两种句式中都可以;3)在状语恢复中能区别空宾结构和动词短语省略结构的不同,他们理解在释义动词...
