从多元系统角度看中国电影翻译的研究

在经济全球化的今天,影视产业发挥着越发重要的作用。中国影视产业在2009年首次突破60亿元人民币而在2010年达到了100亿元人民币的票房收入吸引着越来越多的外国电影涌入了中国市场。与此同时,越来越多的国产影视作品逐步走向世界。影视翻译逐渐成为翻译园地中“愈来愈重要的领域”(钱绍昌)。为了促进不同文化的传播和交流,影视翻译的规模也越来越大。然而,影视翻译在翻译领域没有得到相应的重视,影视理论研究也是相对滞后。尤其是在我国,影视翻译研究的规模还有待进一步深入。 本文试从一个新角度—多元系统来探讨电影翻译,以多元系统理论为支撑,将电影翻译从只针对单个影视作品的孤立性放入整体的社会背景下,发现其相互的联系和影响。多元系统理论是以色列学者—伊塔玛埃文佐哈尔在70年代初提出的,他认为应该把翻译放入更大的社会文化这个的背景中,才能对翻译作品有更深入的了解。埃文-佐哈尔认为,各种社会符号现象,应视为系统而非由不相干的元素组成的混合体。这些系统并非单一的系统,而是由若干个不同的子系统组成的系统。在这个多元系统中,各个子系统的地位并不平等,它们有的处于中心,有的处于边缘。与此同时,他们的地位并不是一...
