【摘要】:流散作家约翰·马克斯韦尔·库切,于2003年获得了颇负盛名的诺贝文学奖。流散经历丰富了库切的生活,拓宽了他的视野,也正是这些流散经历使得库切拥有了多样的视角,形成了自己独特的写作技巧。《慢人》是库切定居澳大利亚后于2005年出版的第一部小说,他结合自己的经历向读者展现出澳大利亚移民的真实生活状态。很显然,《慢人》并不是库切最具知名度的作品,但它的出版仍然引发了许多评论家的关注,这恰恰是因为它引人深思的主题和对澳大利亚移民生活状况的鲜活描写。小说将重点放在了移民身份问题上,具体来说,它着重描写了那些游离在故国文化和移民国文化之间的移民以及他们的文化疏离感和语言焦虑感。近些年,全球移民数量急剧增长。移民的身份问题也吸引了越来越多的学者注意。本篇论文尝试从后殖民理论的角度出发去分析《慢人》中三个主人公的流散身份问题。除引言和结论部分外,本论文主要分为三部分。引言部分简要介绍了库切的个人经历及其作品,介绍了后殖民理论和流散身份,并且集中论述了国内外对于库切《慢人》的研究现状。第一章展现出移民的身份危机,并详细论述主要人物的流散经历及其语言上的焦虑感。通过对移民生活细节的详细解读,映现出移民所处的尴尬的境地,由于流散而导致的无归属感。第二章着重分析了引起移民身份危机的潜在原因,比如,文化疏离以及随之发生的不同种族群体之间的冲突。本论文认为,很大程度上,与母国文化联系的断裂而又无法完全融入新国家的文化引起了这些身份危机。第三章探讨了移民应如何重寻自己的身份,他们要处理好故国文化与新文化之间的关系,另外,移民要认识到他们之间的互相帮助同创造并保存属于自己的历史一样都是十分必要的。最后结论部分指出,作为一个典型的流散作家,库切一直都在追寻自己的文化身份,在《慢人》中也体现出这一点。他始终关注移民的困境,并尝试提出一些行之有效的方法去缓解他们在移民国遭遇的压力。
[Abstract]:Diasporic writer John Maxwell Kuche, won the prestigious Nobel Prize for literature in 2003.
