文学伦理学批评视角下《爱玛》中伦理倾向的研究

【摘要】：简·奥斯汀(1775-1817)是英国历史上杰出的女作家,其作品大多描述的是爱情和婚姻的主题,代表作品是《傲慢与偏见》。《爱玛》虽不是代表作,但被认为是她最为成熟的作品。该书是简·奥斯汀小说中唯一一个以女主人公的名字命名的小说,和其他作品一样,描述的是关于爱情和婚姻的故事。其中,作者重点突出了女主角爱玛喜欢帮熟人"牵线搭桥"的特征。故事情节也因她的"牵线"而变得跌宕起伏。虽然整部小说充满了浓浓的"爱意",但各种伦理因素交织也在《爱玛》中随处可见。迄今,国内外对《爱玛》的研究不少,大多数是从女性主义、新历史主义、成长小说、语言行为理论以及翻译译本等角度对其进行探析,但从文学伦理学视角进行批评分析的甚少。文学伦理学批评是一种文学意义上的方法论,它以伦理学为基础,研究文学文本中出现的各种伦理道德问题,并对文学作品进行伦理和道德的客观考察并且给以历史的、辩证的阐释。本文结合文学论理学批评的方法对简·奥斯汀的《爱玛》进行分析解读。首先,本文将介绍《爱玛》的国内外研究现状,并对其进行归纳总结。其次,详细介绍了文学伦理学批评这一理论基础,其起源、发展与特征。然后,通过分析《爱玛》的故事情节,不同人物的语言表达等,研究主要人物的伦理观(主要包括婚姻观,社交观,阶级意识观)并通过书中人物对不同事物不同态度和看法,来总结分析《爱玛》中的伦理倾向。进而,由《爱玛》的伦理倾向延伸到简·奥斯汀其他作品中的伦理现象,以此来表明奥斯汀作品中普遍的伦理性。紧接着,结合社会背景的伦理环境以及奥斯汀具体的生活经历来剖析她伦理观的形成,以及她在处理社会关系、婚姻关系和人际关系中所表现出的伦理倾向。最后,通过对《爱玛》伦理倾向和作者奥斯汀伦理观的分析,总结得出作者的伦理观和作品的伦理倾向一脉相承,《爱玛》中的伦理倾向是奥斯汀伦理观的完美体现。本文旨在通过分析简·奥斯汀的伦理倾向,并结合对其作品《爱玛》一书中主要人物伦理观的考察,尤其是爱玛的伦理观以及其伦理观变化的原因,来归纳总结出《爱玛》这一文学作品的伦理倾向,主要表现为追求社会阶级、男女关系平等的社会倾向,爱情为先的恋爱婚姻倾向,和谐的人际关系倾向。
[Abstract]:Jane Austen (1775-1817) is an outstanding female writer in British history. Most of her works describe the themes of love and marriage, and they represent Pride and Prejudice. Emma is not a masterpiece. But it's considered to be her most mature work. It's the only novel in Jane Austen's novel named after the heroine, and like any other work, it describes the story of love and marriage. The author highlights the characteristics of Emma's love of helping acquaintances. The story is also ups and downs because of her "matchmaking". Although the whole novel is full of "love", there are a variety of ethical factors. Interlacing is also common in Emma. So far, There are many researches on Emma at home and abroad, most of which are analyzed from the perspectives of feminism, new historicism, growth stories, language behavior theory and translation translation. However, there are few critical analyses from the perspective of literary ethics. Literary ethics criticism is a methodology in the sense of literature. It studies various ethical and moral problems in literary texts on the basis of ethics. And an objective review of ethics and morality in literary works, and historical, dialectical explanations. This paper analyzes Jane Austen's Emma with the method of literary theory of Neo-Confucianism. First of all, This paper will introduce the domestic and international research status of Emma, and summarize it. Secondly, it introduces the theoretical basis, origin, development and characteristics of literary ethics criticism in detail. Then, by analyzing the story plot of Emma, This paper studies the ethical views of the main characters (including marriage view, social view, class consciousness view, etc.) and through the book, the characters have different attitudes and views on different things. To sum up and analyze the ethical tendencies in Emma. And then, from the ethical tendencies of Emma to the ethical phenomena in Jane Austen's other works, to show the general ethicality in Austin's works. Combined with the ethical environment of social background and Austen's specific life experience to analyze the formation of her ethics, as well as her ethical tendencies in dealing with social relations, marital relationships and interpersonal relationships. Based on the analysis of the ethical tendency of Emma and the author's ethics view, It is concluded that the author's ethical views and the ethical tendencies of his works are in the same line, and the ethical tendencies in Emma are the perfect embodiment of Austin's ethics. This paper aims to analyze Jane Austen's ethical tendencies. Combined with the investigation of the main characters' ethics in his work Emma, especially the ethics view of Emma and the reasons for the change of her ethics view, the ethical tendency of this literary work is summed up. The main manifestations are the pursuit of social class, the social tendency of equal relations between men and women, the love first tendency of love and marriage, and the tendency of harmonious interpersonal relationship.
