【摘要】：当代读者对《巨人传》缺乏阅读冲动的原因,不仅像巴赫金指出的那样是因为小说根植于其中的中世纪狂欢民俗已然遥远,还因为当今之人对当时文人的审美与创作追求缺乏了解。写作之初,拉伯雷将《巨人传》定义为"消遣之作",这背后不仅有时代的因素,还隐藏了作家的匠心。以消遣之名,拉伯雷使《巨人传》深入世俗文化之中又超乎其上:一方面将文人的博学、幽默与市井的粗俗戏谑相结合,创造了畅销的神话;另一方面借消遣行为中蕴含的颠覆性力量,伸张创作的自由,并树立积极、乐观的文人精神,使之成为时代的经典。巨人的笑声既突破了希腊式微笑所追求的典雅,也冲破了中世纪严肃、刻板的面孔,是文艺复兴时期美学的体现,并对法国的政治文化话语产生了深远影响。
[Abstract]:The reason why contemporary readers lack the impulse to read Giants is not just because the medieval carnival folklore that the novel is rooted in is far away, as Bakhtin points out. It is also because there is a lack of understanding of the aesthetic and creative pursuits of the literati at that time. At the beginning of his writing, Labre defined Biography of the Giant as a "pastime work," which is not only a factor of the times, but also conceals the writer's craftsmanship in the name of recreation. Raphael made the Giant Biography go deep into secular culture: on the one hand, by combining the literati's erudition, humor with the vulgar banter of the city, he created a best-selling myth; on the other hand, he took advantage of the subversive power contained in his pastimes. Uphold the freedom of creation, and establish a positive, optimistic literati spirit, making it a classic of the times. The laughter of the giant broke through the elegance sought by the Greek smile, but also broke through the serious, rigid faces of the Middle Ages. It is the embodiment of Renaissance aesthetics and has a profound influence on French political and cultural discourse.
