【摘要】：曾荣获美国国家图书奖,普利策奖,以及诺贝尔文学奖的索尔·贝娄(1915-2005)是美国当代文坛上享有盛誉的小说家,他被认为是继福克纳和海明威之后最重要的文学巨匠之一。贝娄创造了很多有影响力的作品,蕴含深刻的社会内容和深邃的哲学思辨,《洪堡的礼物》就是其中一部最具有代表性的作品。小说独具一格的艺术表现形式充分印证了贝娄在创作技巧方面的造诣和才华,特别是作品对复调艺术手法的诠释更是达到了完美的效果。《洪堡的礼物》是一部情节复杂,逻辑性强,寓意深厚的作品,体现了贝娄非凡高超的艺术天赋。本文以分析复调小说理论为切入点,着重讨论了“对话性”,“时空观”等典型复调特征在《洪堡的礼物》中的应用,由此揭示了小说在叙事结构、主题和主人公形象塑造方面表现出的复调性,并进一步分析了小说运用复调手法的必然性,旨在深入地挖掘作品潜在的主旨内涵和艺术价值。全文由前言、正文以及结论三部分组成。针对美国小说家索尔·贝娄的生平、作品和《洪堡的礼物》的创作背景和小说的内容,以及小说的理论框架,结构安排,第一部分做出了全面介绍。第二部分是整篇论文的核心。通过细读文本,作者深入探讨了复调特征在《洪堡的礼物》的具体体现。正文分别从对话模式,叙述视角和时空观为切入点,来阐释文本的复调性特征。首先,对话模式主要体现在大型对话,微型对话。其次,贝娄笔下的“复调”如同肉体的肌理普遍分布在作品中,它不仅表现在对话性上,也体现在叙述视角上。贝娄一改独白小说中作者万能统治者的角色,用平等的视角与读者以及主人公进行对话。最后,时空观主要表现在物理的时空以及心理的时空的交错并存上。为了展示时空交叠的复调性特征,贝娄摆脱了历时性的线性叙事,让过去、现在和未来所有的事情都在同一时空上演。第三部分是论文的结论,基于对前面部分的分析,这一部分将对全文进行简明的内容概括和总结发现。通过对《洪堡的礼物》的巴赫金式解读,我们可以看出,作为20世纪美国文坛的一部重要现代主义小说,贝娄在这部作品中展示出了他在复调小说写作方面高超的技能,并充分展示了处在世纪之交的作家对社会复杂性的认识。
[Abstract]:Saul Bellow, who has won the National Book Award, the Pulitzer Prize and the Nobel Prize for Literature, is a famous novelist in contemporary American literature. He is regarded as one of the most important literary masterminds after Faulkner and Hemingway. Bellow has created many influential works, which contain profound social content and profound philosophical speculation. The gift of Humboldt is one of the most representative works. The unique artistic form of the novel fully confirms Bellow's attainments and talents in creative skills, especially the interpretation of polyphonic art techniques in his works, which has reached a perfect effect. Humboldt's Gift is a complex plot. The works with strong logic and profound meaning reflect Bellow's extraordinary artistic talent. Based on the analysis of polyphonic novel theory, this paper focuses on the application of typical polyphonic features, such as "dialogue" and "space-time view", in the Gift of Humboldt, thus revealing the narrative structure of the novel. The theme and the portrayal of the protagonist are polyphonic, and the inevitability of the use of polyphonic techniques in the novel is further analyzed in order to dig into the potential connotation and artistic value of the works. The full text consists of three parts: preface, text and conclusion. The first part gives a comprehensive introduction to Saul Bellow's life, the background of his works and the content of the novel, as well as the theoretical framework and structure of the novel. The second part is the core of the whole paper. By reading the text carefully, the author probes into the concrete embodiment of polyphonic features in Humboldt's Gift. The text explains the polyphonic features of the text from the perspective of dialogue, narrative perspective and time-space view. First of all, the dialogue mode is mainly reflected in large-scale dialogue, micro-dialogue. Secondly, Bellow's polyphony, like the texture of the body, is widely distributed in his works, not only in dialogue, but also in the perspective of narration. Bellow changed the role of omnipotent ruler in his monologue and talked with readers and protagonists from an equal perspective. Finally, the view of time and space is mainly reflected in the coexistence of time and space of physics and the interlacing of time and space of psychology. In order to show the polyphonic characteristics of space-time overlap Bellow got rid of the diachronic linear narration and let all things of the past present and future be performed in the same time and space. The third part is the conclusion of the paper, based on the analysis of the previous part, this part will summarize and summarize the full text. Through the Bakhtin interpretation of the gift of Humboldt, we can see that Bellow, as an important modernist novel in the 20th century American literary world, shows his superb skills in the writing of polyphonic novels. And fully demonstrated the writer at the turn of the century to understand the complexity of society.
