“古今之争”与“离题话”:被忽略的事件及文本

【摘要】：欧洲知识界于18世纪前后爆发的"古今之争",作为勾连文艺复兴与启蒙运动两大思潮的一股暗流,一直未能得到国内外学界的重视。斯威夫特作为突破英国"古今之争"僵局的重要作家,其作品及思想具有标本意义;但学界在展开研究时,却忽略或回避了《木桶的故事》中"离题话"部分,对其的探察有助于还原斯威夫特对"古今之争"的真实态度。
[Abstract]:The "dispute between ancient and modern" broke out in the European intellectual circles around the 18th century, as a kind of undercurrent of the two major ideological trends of the Renaissance and the Enlightenment, it has not been paid attention to by the scholars at home and abroad. Swift, as an important writer who broke through the deadlock in Britain's "dispute between ancient and modern times", his works and ideas are of great significance, but the academic circles have ignored or avoided the "off-topic words" in the Story of the barrel when they began their research. The exploration of it will help to restore Swift's true attitude to the dispute between ancient and modern.
