【摘要】：《苦行僧的渴望》是苏丹"70"后作家哈穆尔·齐亚达于2014年出版的一部小说,2014年获得纳吉布·马哈福兹文学奖,2015年入围阿拉伯布克奖短名单。小说以"马赫迪运动"前夕苏丹人民广受压迫和革命失败后民生凋敝为背景,以男主人公巴赫特的复仇之路为线索,展开了一段有关信仰、爱情、背叛的错综复杂的故事,表达了小说作者对现实社会的忧思。新历史主义关注边缘人物的生存处境,以一种边缘化的叙述策略将历史带入文学,在边缘处发出自己独特的文学、政治、权利之声。本论文借助新历史主义相关理论,通过分析以男主人公巴赫特为代表的诸多边缘人物的生存悲剧,挖掘小说中边缘人物真挚的和偏执的渴望,探索小说作者对爱情与暴力的思考。本论文首先介绍了马赫迪运动时期的大背景下以小说几位主人公为代表的几类边缘人物——黑奴与囚徒、传教士和妇孺,挖掘他们身上的闪光点,探讨作者钟情边缘的情结;小说中,向往革命、加入马赫迪运动的人是"苦行僧",追寻所爱、求而不得的人也是"苦行僧"。小说结合"苦行僧们"不同的遭遇分别从正反两个方面解读"渴望"的含义,凸显小说倡导理智信仰的主题;通过阐述边缘人物在追寻自己"渴望"道路上的迷失、过错,分别对他们展现的个人暴力和群体暴力进行反思。新历史主义文论认为,历史总是循环往复的。小说中马赫迪革命时期的悲剧还在当今阿拉伯世界上演,小说中对信仰、暴力问题的反思,对解决当今阿拉伯世界的困境乃至国际性问题具有一定的借鉴意义。
[Abstract]:Ascetic desire is a novel published by Sudanese post-70 writer Hammour Ziyada in 2014. He won the Najib Mahforth Prize for Literature in 2014 and was shortlisted for the Arab Booker Prize in 2015. The novel takes the people of Sudan on the eve of the "Mahdi Movement" as the background of widespread oppression and the collapse of the people's livelihood after the defeat of the revolution, and takes the revenge road of the hero Bacht as the clue, and launches a complex story of faith, love, and betrayal. It expresses the writer's concern about the real society. New historicism pays close attention to the living situation of the marginal characters, brings history into literature with a kind of marginalized narrative strategy, and sends out its own unique voices of literature, politics and rights at the edge. With the help of the theory of New historicism, this paper analyzes the survival tragedies of many marginal characters represented by Bach, the protagonist, and excavates the sincere and paranoid desire of the marginal characters in the novel. Explore the writer's thoughts on love and violence. This thesis first introduces several kinds of marginal characters represented by several protagonists in the Mahdi Movement period-slaves and prisoners, missionaries and women and children, excavates their flash points, and probes into the author's love and edge complex. In the novel, the people who yearn for revolution and join the Mahdi movement are ascetic monks. Combined with the different experiences of "ascetic monks", the novel interprets the meaning of "desire" from the positive and negative aspects, highlights the theme of advocating rational belief in the novel, and expounds the lost and fault of the marginal characters on the road of pursuing their own "desire". Reflect on their personal violence and group violence respectively. New historicist literary theory holds that history is always circular. The tragedy in the period of Mahdi revolution is still on in the Arab world. The reflection on the problems of faith and violence in the novel has certain reference significance to solve the plight of the Arab world and even the international problems.
