奈保尔小说《毕斯沃斯先生的房子》中空间与身份危机的关系研究

【摘要】：二十世纪末叶,文化研究领域出现了“空间转向”。相较于时间领域,学者们开始更多地关注空间领域。同时,空间的概念得以拓展,它包含了简单的物质空间和具有社会学及文化含义的社会空间。空间研究已渗透到文学领域。维·苏·奈保尔是一位自传型的“后殖民文学”作家,其代表作《毕斯沃斯先生的房子》以其父为原型而创作,通过小说主人公毕斯沃斯先生在不同空间中奋力求索、试图摆脱身份危机的抗争来展现殖民地人民的命运。本文分为以下五个部分:一.对奈保尔及其作品《毕斯沃斯先生的房子》在国内外的研究状况进行简单梳理并提出论文的研究价值及论文框架;二.运用空间理论分析小说中毕斯沃斯先生的身份危机与空间之间的关系。从个人空间层面展示出身份危机与空间的关系并进行分析与解读,挖掘出作品中毕斯沃斯先生的身份危机与不同空间之间的因果关系及其对毕斯沃斯先生命运的影响;三.从社会空间层面解读主人公身份危机与空间的关系及其对主人公命运的影响;四.身份危机也影响了空间的构建,它对毕斯沃斯先生身份危机的处理有重要意义:他通过自我空间及精神空间的构建来应对身份危机;五.总结全文,并提出本文的研究价值所在。本文以空间理论为视角,旨在通过对小说中不同空间及主人公身份危机的细致分析,深入探讨主人公的身份危机与空间之间的因果关系、相互影响关系及空间在该小说中的文学价值。
[Abstract]:At the end of the twentieth century, there was a space turn in the field of cultural research. Scholars begin to focus more on space than on time. At the same time, the concept of space has been expanded to include simple material space and social space with sociological and cultural implications. The study of space has penetrated into the field of literature. Wei Su Naipaul is an autobiographical "postcolonial literature" writer whose masterpiece, "the House of Mr. Bisworth", is based on his father and struggles in different spaces through the protagonist, Mr. Bisworth. The struggle to escape from the identity crisis to show the fate of the colonial people. This paper is divided into the following five parts: 1. This paper briefly combs the research situation of Naipaul and his work "Mr. Bisworth's House" at home and abroad, and puts forward the research value and the frame of the thesis. Using space theory to analyze the relationship between Mr. Bisworth's identity crisis and space. This paper shows the relationship between identity crisis and space from the perspective of personal space, analyzes and interprets it, and excavates the causal relationship between Mr. Bisworth's identity crisis and different spaces in his works and their influence on Mr. Bisworth's fate. The relationship between the identity crisis and space of the protagonist and its influence on the fate of the protagonist are interpreted from the perspective of social space. Identity crisis also affects the construction of space, which is of great significance to the management of Mr. Bisworth's identity crisis: he deals with the identity crisis through the construction of his own space and spiritual space; Summarize the full text and put forward the research value of this paper. From the perspective of space theory, this paper aims to explore the causal relationship between the identity crisis of the protagonist and the space through the careful analysis of the different spaces and the identity crisis of the protagonist in the novel.
