茶文化对二十世纪美国文学与美国民族身份建构的影响

【摘要】：身份是二十世纪美国文学中的一个关键词。美国是一个由众多不同国家移民及其移民后代组成的国家,是世界上聚汇融合最多特征各异的族裔群体的国家。这些不同族裔群体在美国这个大熔炉中煅炼,多数后裔虽然还保留一定的自我民族意识但大都已经被同化,他们的外在表象,生活方式以及价值观念已经深深烙下了美国烙印,建构了其美国民族身份。本文从美国华裔作家雷霆超的作品《吃碗茶》出发,从茶文化角度探讨华裔群体的美国民族身份建构,颇具代表性。
[Abstract]:Identity is a key word in American literature in the twentieth century. The United States is a nation of immigrants from many different countries and their descendants. These different ethnic groups have been forged in the melting pot of the United States. Although most of their descendants still retain a certain sense of their own national identity, most of them have been assimilated. Their external appearance, lifestyle and values have deeply branded the United States. It constructs its American national identity. Based on the work of Lei Ting Chao, a Chinese American writer, this paper, from the perspective of tea culture, discusses the construction of American national identity of Chinese American community, which is quite representative.
