“诗是理性化的梦”——《忽必烈汗》1816年序言刍议

【摘要】:对于柯勒律治《忽必烈汗》一诗,国内学界长期以来都聚焦于诗歌正文的解读,而对其1816年序言未予重视。本文采用史料考辨和文本细读的方法,首先对序言与"克鲁手稿"的附言进行比照,质疑序言所述事实的真实性,并寻绎措辞变动的理由;然后比照序言与诗歌正文,阐释两个文本在人物形象和主题上的诸多暗合以及潜在的龃龉。鉴于浪漫主义时期"断章"体大为盛行,本文结合柯勒律治对灵感与想象力的看法,指出诗人迟迟未将此诗发表的缘由并不是其结构上的不完整,而是诗人并不认同纯灵感写作的方法。1816年序言创造了一个从灵感中清醒过来的反思者形象,目的是要跟诗歌正文中那个狂热躁动的诗魔形象形成对比。
[Abstract]:As for Coleridge's poem Kublai Khan, scholars in China have long focused on the interpretation of the text of poetry, but not on its preface in 1816. This article adopts the method of historical materials research and text careful reading, compares the preface with the postscript of "Crewe manuscript", questions the truth of the facts mentioned in the preface, and finds out the reason for the change of wording. Then, by comparing the preface and the main text of poetry, the author explains the coincident and potential discord between the two texts on the characters and themes. In view of the great popularity of the "broken chapter" style in the Romantic period, this paper, combined with Coleridge's view of inspiration and imagination, points out that the reason for the poet's delay in publishing this poem is not its structural incompleteness. The preface of 1816 creates a reflexive image of the inspiration, in contrast to the manic and restless figure of the poem in the body of the poem.
