[Abstract]:J. M., winner of the 2003 Nobel Prize in Literature. Kutcher is an outstanding contemporary South African novelist, critic and scholar. His second Buck Prize representative, Shame, has been widely acclaimed but controversial since its publication in 1999. This thesis selects Kuche's shame as the research object, takes narrative ethics as the theoretical fulcrum, reinterprets the masterpiece from three aspects of "story", "discourse" and "reading". In this way, Kuche's ethics on love is revealed. This paper first introduces the author Kuche and his works "shame", summarizes the current research situation at home and abroad, and discusses the research ideas and framework of this paper. The first part of the text examines the ethics of novel story level. This chapter attempts to break the definition paradigm of race, sex and population, and then explores the dualistic relationship between white and black, male and female, and human and animal to reveal Kuchet's concern for the "other". The second part analyzes the narrative skills of the novel and the persistence and persistence of Kuchet's love under the narrative skills. Based on the basic theory of narratology, this chapter discusses Kuche's unique narrative strategy from three aspects: focus, intertextuality and artistic representation of evil problems. The third part is based on Fellen's theory of narrative ethics. At the level of "reading", Kuche involved readers in the field of narrative imitation and theme, and led readers to re-examine the novel according to his definition of "glory" and to make reasonable ethical judgments in the process of reading. The last part is a summary of Kuche's ethical ideas at three levels. By describing a professor's humiliating downfall and the ultimate ethical awakening, Kuche is intended to show that, like the hero Luli, who has gone through hard times to restore the glory of the past, South Africa should also experience a redemption of love to regain its long lost glory in the land.
