世俗与神圣——《麦克白》剧中的时间

【摘要】：自柯勒律治开始,莎士比亚《麦克白》一剧即被阐释者认为极富形而上学意味。传统的阐释通常将该剧目为善与恶的斗争。《麦克白》剧中频繁出现的时间意象亦折射莎士比亚所处文艺复兴晚期欧洲人之时间观——中世纪"神圣时间"与现代"世俗时间"的对峙。通过将《麦克白》一剧展现为"神圣时间"的最终胜利,莎士比亚接续西方古典戏剧诗人之诗教传统与中世纪道德剧模式,重启"诗之正义"。
[Abstract]:Since Coleridge, Shakespeare's "Macbeth" has been interpreted as metaphysical. The traditional interpretation usually regards the play as a struggle between good and evil. The frequent time imagery in Macbeth also reflects Shakespeare's European view of time in the late Renaissance: the Holy time in the Middle Ages and the present The confrontation of secular time. By presenting Macbeth as the ultimate victory of the Holy time, Shakespeare succeeded the poetic tradition of the western classical dramatic poets and the model of the medieval moral drama, and restarted "the justice of poetry".
