【摘要】：正引言从古至今,向来不乏轰轰烈烈的理想主义者。他们或以超然之态与理想相拥而亡,或在对其遥遥瞻望之中耗尽一生。而毛姆笔下的这个人,他选择了与大多数理想主义者近似的姿态,却有着与他们质感不同的灵魂。他是个直到死前依旧惹人嫌弃的理想家,浑浑噩噩,偏激冷漠,外表和内心都是一片荒芜。他拼尽了生命最后一分养料,在所剩无几的荒芜上开出了灿烂的花,然后毅然决然地将这花连根拔起,付之一炬。他的整个人生都在自作自受的穷困潦倒中循
[Abstract]:From ancient times to the present, there has been no shortage of vigorous idealists. They either die with transcendence and ideals, or spend their lives looking at them from afar. Maugham's man, on the other hand, chose a posture similar to that of most idealists, but had a soul that was different from their texture. He was an ideal family who was still repugnant until he died, muddled, extreme and indifferent, and his appearance and heart were desolate. He exhausted the last portion of his life, bloomed brilliant flowers on the few desolation left, and resolutely uprooted them and set them on fire. His whole life has been followed by the poverty of his own.
