《项狄传》情节模式与隐匿的道德伦理制

【摘要】:《项狄传》的情节模式始终是斯特恩研究传统关注的一个焦点。已有研究主要从美学角度解读《项狄传》与现代主义以及后现代主义小说的叙事相似性,却忽视了18世纪中叶文学评论界对《项狄传》情节模式的态度。《项狄传》的情节模式在当时文学评论界并不被认可,原因在于它违反了那一特定历史时期小说情节的审美规约,背离了其中所隐匿的深层道德伦理内涵。通过对《项狄传》情节模式与18世纪小说情节内涵的对比分析,可以看到,发现小说在兴起阶段借鉴和吸收了亚里士多德戏剧情节观,必然律兼有美学认知与道德伦理的双重维度,小说在18世纪中叶英国公共空间中承担着秩序建构的功能。
[Abstract]:The plot pattern of Xiang Di Zhuan has always been a focus of Stern's traditional research. Some studies have mainly interpreted the narrative similarity between Xiang Di Zhuan and modernism and postmodernism novels from the aesthetic point of view, but ignored the attitude of literary critics to the plot mode of Xiang Di Zhuan in the middle of the 18th century. The plot model of Xiang Di Zhuan was not recognized in the literary criticism at that time, because it violated the aesthetic statute of the novel plot in that specific historical period. It deviates from the deep moral and ethical connotation hidden in it. Through the comparative analysis of the plot mode of Xiang Di Zhuan and the plot connotation of the 18th century novel, we can see that the novel draws lessons from and absorbs Aristotle's dramatic sentiment in the rising stage, and the inevitable law has the dual dimensions of aesthetic cognition and moral ethics. The novel undertakes the function of order construction in the British public space in the middle of the 18th century.
