批评性话语分析视角解读谭恩美《喜福会》中的文化权力

谭恩美是一位享誉世界的华裔作家,她的作品常见主题多为探究母女之间的关系。《喜福会》作为谭恩美的代表作,该作品通过描述母女之间的感情冲突,挖掘了母女两代人在诸多方面之间的文化权力差异。本文应用批评性话语分析的研究方法,解析《喜福会》中呈现的文化权力及文化差异。文章借助以费尔克劳夫三维话语分析结构为代表的批评性话语分析方法,以系统功能语言学的理论为基础,通过话语分析挖掘隐藏在语言背后的文化权力和文化意识形态,进而阐述小说中母女两代人之间的文化权力。论文共由五部分构成。第一章概括介绍了作家谭恩美的生活经历以及作品。第二、三、四章的设计遵从费尔克劳夫的三维话语分析结构,分别从语篇,话语实践和社会实践三个维度对小说中的文化权力进行批评话语分析研究,实现从微观语言功能到宏观社会现实的科学分析。语篇分析探究语言在小说人物关系中所发挥的作用。话语实践分析则侧重研究文本的创作过程及其阐述过程,以此洞悉其文化性。社会实践分析侧重探讨文化权力产生的社会环境,阐述母女两代人在文化观念和价值方面最终趋于融合的原因。第五章是论文的总结部分。包括整篇论文的写作意义、写作局限以及论文创作过程中的建议。依据系统功能语言...
