Translated literature implies the domestication of a foreign culture,saying more about the recipient than the foreign text.By focusing in three aspects of translated literature,this work seeks to explore what is translated when translating literature,with a focus on the translation into Chinese of literature written in Spanish.This work studies the selection of literature to be translated based on their performance in the award arena than through a thoughtful study of its literary quality.Using ...
