《德伯家的苔丝》中概念隐喻的语篇连贯作用研究

　　数十年来,隐喻研究逐渐进入了繁荣发展期。在传统意义上,隐喻研究局限在修辞层和语言层。近二十年来,隐喻研究在认知科学领域得到显著发展。Lakoff和Johnson（1980）提出著名的概念隐喻理论,进一步强化了隐喻研究的认知倾向。他们认为人们依靠隐喻感知外部世界,隐喻在人们的思想以及行为方式中扮演着重要角色。概念隐喻具有系统性和连贯性。正是因为这些特性,人们的隐喻语言表述才能呈现出系统和连贯的特征。已有学者诸如Goatly（1997,2000）,冯（2004）对概念隐喻在实现语义连贯方面进行过研究。然而鲜有研究证明其在具体语篇中的连贯功能,尤其以纯英语文学语篇为语料进行的研究还不多。因此,本文以经典英文小说《德伯家的苔丝》中的概念隐喻为语料,旨在研究概念隐喻的语篇连贯作用。本研究以Pragglejaz Group（2007）提出的隐喻识别方法为依据,从小说文本中共选取1018个概念隐喻,并将其划分归类为实体隐喻,方位隐喻和结构隐喻。基于概念隐喻理论,研究结果如下:其一,《德伯家的苔丝》中大量运用了上述三种隐喻,其中实体隐喻出现频次最高。其二,概念隐喻的系统性能构建局部连贯,即源域和目标域...
