媒介环境学派的隐喻表达与隐喻思维

【摘要】:传播学第三大学派——媒介环境学派的诸多著名论断常遭人误解,一个重要原因是其频繁的隐喻运用被人难以理解甚或视而不见。以该学派代表人物麦克卢汉、尼尔·波斯曼、沃尔特·翁为考察中心,梳理其隐喻表达方式的典型表现,剖析其内在的隐喻思维及动因,认为从形式层面把握其隐喻表达及隐喻思维乃是理解该学派思想体系有效而不可忽视的路径;同时提出,在我们接受与发展媒介环境学时、在人们的思想和行动中、在观察这个充斥媒介的世界时,隐喻是一种重要的技术;进而在学界已有认识的基础上,正式提出媒介环境学具有泛隐喻观的重要特点。
[Abstract]:Many famous theories of Media Environment School, the third largest school of communication, are often misunderstood, one of the important reasons is that their frequent use of metaphor is difficult to understand or even blind. Taking McLuhan, Neil Perseman and Walter Weng, the representative figures of this school, as the research centers, the typical expressions of metaphorical expressions are combed out, and their internal metaphorical thinking and motivation are analyzed. The author holds that it is an effective and unnegligible way to understand the metaphorical expression and metaphorical thinking of the school from the formal level, and points out that in the course of accepting and developing the media environment, in the course of people's thought and action, Metaphor is an important technology in observing the world full of media, and on the basis of the existing knowledge in academic circles, it is formally proposed that media environment has the important characteristics of pan-metaphorical view.
