新闻语体的批评性话语分析——以孟晚舟事件的报道为例

经济技术的迅猛发展使得中国越来越多地受到世界各国的关注,成为新闻报道的核心。作为技术市场领军公司的华为,在领域内具有深远的影响力,关于华为的报道常常登上各国新闻的头版。2018年12月1日,华为首席财务总监孟晚舟在加拿大转机时,被加拿大当局代表美国政府暂时扣押,这一事件引发了各国舆论的高度关注。对相关新闻的报道涉及大国之间政治、外交关系和经济竞争,也反映了报道背后各国的主导思想。本研究使用批评性话语分析的方法对美国和加拿大两国媒体针对孟晚舟的新闻报道进行分析。本研究通过搜集加拿大《环球邮报》和美国《纽约时报》关于孟晚舟事件的相关报道,自建两个小型语料库。通过费尔克劳的三维模型分析,从词汇选择、情态、新闻源及引语等角度进行批评性分析,旨在通过批评性话语分析的方式对孟晚舟扣押事件里美国和加拿大两国的新闻报道进行分析,寻找在本事件新闻报道中的语言特征,话语范式以及话语范式与意识形态之间的关系。研究所得结论有:1)总体而言《环球邮报》在遣词造句方面更具有专业性,《纽约时报》句式变换更为丰富,更能吸引读者;2)《环球邮报》和《纽约时报》在报道者分别抓取关键词对事件框架进行了全面的描述,但在关键词...
