【摘要】：《骨》是当代华裔女作家伍慧明的第一部著作,该书讲述了一个生活在唐人街的华裔家庭的故事,描述了家中三个女儿的坎坷生活。在这部小说中,伍慧明用细腻的笔调勾画了一个不正常的家庭,家中三个女儿都有怪异的举动,一个女儿吸毒缓解痛苦,一个女儿离家出走,另外一个女儿自杀结束生命。显而易见,伍慧明笔下的这个家庭出现异常,每一个女儿都在不同程度上患有精神疾病。美国心理学家卡伦·霍妮认为家庭环境和社会文化环境与一个人的心理健康状况密切相关。她强调,由于童年时期缺乏家庭关爱使得儿童缺乏安全感,再加上周围不利的社会文化环境,共同导致儿童形成基本焦虑,而基本焦虑则是导致神经症人格的根本原因。运用霍妮的神经症人格理论,通过细致的文本分析,发现三个女儿莱拉、妮娜和安娜分别属于不同的神经症人格,即:莱拉属于屈从型人格,妮娜属于逃避型人格,安娜属于攻击型人格。由于从小缺乏家庭关爱,屈从型人格莱拉形成了自恨和自卑的心理防御策略,以及自我牺牲、对爱疯狂追求的人际防御策略;由于压抑的社会生活环境,逃避型人格妮娜形成了病态自负的心理防御策略,以及逃避他人的人际防御策略;由于父亲的错误教育方式,攻击型人格安娜形成了压抑的心理防御策略,以及反叛攻击的人际防御策略。通过分析三个女儿的基本焦虑和三种人格的形成过程,本文挖掘出了三个女儿异常举动背后的深层原因,揭示了她们走向悲剧命运的根源,也进一步探讨了第二代华裔儿女的内心冲突。另外,伍慧明在小说中指出了美国社会文化环境对华裔子女生存和生活有很大影响。因此,小说也启示我们建立良好的家庭环境和社会文化环境,从而促进儿童的健康成长,帮助他们形成健全健康的人格。
