英汉诗歌中花意象的认知隐喻对比研究

【摘要】：随着莱考夫和约翰逊的《我们赖以生存的隐喻》问世,隐喻的认知功能已逐渐被认识,并吸引了国内外学者广泛的关注。隐喻不仅是一种语言现象,也是一种认知现象。当代隐喻理论发生了革命性的变化。在国内,从认知的角度对英汉隐喻对比所做的研究已有很多,但主要集中在情感隐喻,颜色隐喻,空间隐喻,人体隐喻。对英汉诗歌中花意象隐喻的对比研究却鲜有涉及。因此本文以花意象的隐喻为研究对象,旨在发现英汉诗歌中花意象隐喻的共性和差异。本研究选取了汉语诗歌600首和英语诗歌300首为研究语料,以花意象为研究的对象。从概念隐喻的角度,分析英汉诗歌中花意象的隐喻的映射机制,发掘英汉诗歌中花意象的重要隐喻内涵,探讨其所隐含的隐喻特征共性和差异性。研究发现,花意象的隐喻普遍存在于英汉诗歌中。花意象的隐喻以花作为源域,人或其他事物作为目的域。花的外表,特性,生长环境等等映射到人或其他事物上,形成了花意象隐喻的映射机制。此外,在英汉诗歌中花意象的隐喻有许多相同的隐喻表达,比如美女是花,爱情是花,美德是花,人生和青春是花等等。这反映出人类认知的共同即隐喻植根于人类的身体体验。但由于文化的因素和认知的差异,也有很多不同的隐喻表达,如在汉语诗歌中雪是花,而在英语诗歌中甜美,和平和宁静是花等等。本研究的发现证实了隐喻既有普遍性又有差异性,从诗歌隐喻的角度支持了现代隐喻理论。一方面,有助于我们更好地欣赏诗歌中的意象,从认知的角度对英汉诗歌语篇作出一种新的解读和鉴赏。另一方面,有益于英汉语言学习者更好地理解有关花意象的词语的语义扩展,深化隐喻的研究。在一定程度上弥补了目前隐喻对比研究方面的不足。
[Abstract]:With the advent of Lakoff and Johnson's metaphor for our existence, the cognitive function of metaphor has been gradually recognized and attracted wide attention from scholars both at home and abroad. Metaphor is not only a linguistic phenomenon. It is also a cognitive phenomenon. The contemporary metaphorical theory has undergone revolutionary changes. In China, there have been a lot of researches on the contrast of English and Chinese metaphors from the perspective of cognition, but they mainly focus on affective metaphor, color metaphor and spatial metaphor. The comparative study of flower imagery metaphors in English and Chinese poetry is seldom involved. Therefore, this paper focuses on the metaphor of flower images in order to find out the similarities and differences of flower imagery metaphors in English and Chinese poetry. In this study, 600 Chinese poems and 300 English poems are selected as the corpus, and the flower image is taken as the research object. From the perspective of conceptual metaphor, the mapping mechanism of flower image metaphor in English and Chinese poetry is analyzed. This paper explores the metaphorical connotations of flower images in English and Chinese poetry, and probes into the similarities and differences of their metaphorical features. It is found that the metaphors of flower images generally exist in English and Chinese poetry. The metaphors of flower images take flowers as the source domain, people or other things as the target domain. The appearance, characteristics, growing environment of flowers are mapped to people or other things. In addition, in English and Chinese poetry, the metaphor of flower image has many similar metaphors, such as beautiful woman is flower, love is flower, virtue is flower, beauty is flower, love is flower, virtue is flower, love is flower, virtue is flower, beauty is flower, love is flower, virtue is flower. Life and youth are flowers and so on. This reflects that the common metaphor of human cognition is rooted in human body experience. However, due to cultural factors and cognitive differences, there are many different metaphorical expressions, such as snow is a flower in Chinese poetry. In English poetry, sweetness, peace and serenity are flowers and so on. The findings of this study confirm that metaphor is universal and different. It supports modern metaphorical theory from the perspective of poetic metaphor. On the one hand, it is helpful for us to appreciate the imagery in poetry better. On the other hand, it is helpful for English and Chinese language learners to better understand the semantic expansion of words related to flower images. To deepen the study of metaphor, to a certain extent, to make up for the current comparative study of metaphor deficiencies.
