从《喜福会》中的第一代虎妈到当代虎妈形象

【摘要】：《喜福会》里的第一代虎妈祈祷女儿能够拥有自己不曾拥有的"福气"和"运气",她们希望女儿如自己一般强大起来。当代虎妈蔡美儿则要求自己的女儿成为东方文化和西方文明兼收并蓄的典范。无论是第一代虎妈还是当代虎妈,她们最终的愿望都是女儿们的幸福与成功,"听话"不过是母亲们认为有效的一种管理手段和需要坚守的东方式家庭准则。
[Abstract]:The first generation of Tiger mothers in the Joy Luck Society prayed that their daughters would have the "blessings" and "luck" they had never had. They wanted their daughters to be as strong as they were. Chua Mel, the contemporary tiger mother, demanded that her daughter become the East. Both Fang culture and Western civilization. Whether it is the first generation of tiger mother or contemporary tiger mother, Their ultimate wish is the happiness and success of their daughters, "obedient" is only what mothers consider effective management and the need to adhere to the principles of the eastern family.
